SINP - JANUARY INTAKE 2016 Q&A.

I have submitted 2 applications because the 1st submitted application had some errors (minor, in my opinion). Should I keep both apps or cancel the 1st application?

If both apps are valid, which one will be considered? Or neither app will be considered due to dupplication?

If the 1st app is not valid, will it be disregarded and the 2nd app will be considered?

Please advise. Many thanks.

Please cancel the first application to avoid duplicates ,and Iam thinking you have applied the two applications in Jan 2016 intake.
Once you cancel the first application, your second application will be considered.
Someone else can apply if you cancel the first application, since the intake will be only for 500 applications

Thanks for your advise, Charan. I am canceling my 1st app now. I found only 1 option for canceling: Cancel this Pre-Application. Is it the correct choice for canceling the whole app?

Hello Zee,

First step is complete all the required fields in Review Applicant Details section did you submit this without any error?
Second Step complete Continue SINP Application and then click submit here and this is where you will recieve application number once you submit
In the second step, have you created settlement fund (uploaded Settlement plan here) and uploaded necessary federal documents
please refer to the below checkist

Documents:

1. Passport ----> Principle Applicant, Spouse, Child
(All Scanned copies)
2. Birth Certificates ----> Principle Applicant, Spouse, Child
(All Scanned copies)
3. University Degree + All Transcripts - Scanned copies of main applicant

4. ECA Report - Scanned copy of main applicant

5. IELTS TRF - Scanned copy of main applicant

6. Settlement fund: You need to create settlement Tab and attach these
Also, Settlement plan mention at the end should be attached at this tab
Bank Certificate + Bank Statement (For Last Three Months)

Required funds must be stable for 90 days prior to submission of application.

2. IMM 5562 - Supplementary Information: Your Travels (Only Principle Applicant must fill this form)

3. Schedule 4: Economic Classes - Provincial Nominee (Only Principle Applicant must fill this form)

4. Schedule A: Background/Declaration (Principle Applicant & Spouse must fill this form separately)

5. IMM-5406 Additional Family Information - IMM-5406 Additional Family Information

6. Ethical Conduct Disclosure And Declaration Form

To prepare a settlement plan according to SINP instructions, just follow the steps below:


STEP#01 ----> just go to the URL: http://www.cic.gc.ca/lctvac/english/index

STEP#02 ----> Answer all the questions properly.

STEP#04 ----> At the end, you would find a PRINT button, just PRINT the Settlement Plan.

STEP#05 ----> Scan the Settlement Plan.

2. You need to complete applicant details and then you will be directed to the application where you will submit all the forms.

They received my application in OID stream. But as I dont have my birth certificate translated, i attached it in my native language: portuguese. I will translate it this week(certified, of course). I saw other small mistakes. For instance, i did not uploaded any proof of my work experience and proof of funds.

What is better in those cases of an incomplete application:
1) wait them ask for missing docs first? Or...
2) send by e-mail as soon as can before they ask?

Do you think it is possible they reject immediately my application because of missing documents or they will give me a chance by asking what is missing?
