Friends,
when should we fill the federal forms ,
is it at the time of pnp program or
after the province nominates us?
I didnt find in which section those forms should
uploaded.thanks

Hi,

1. I would request you to look for an icon on every screen called 'files'. Also everytime a new window appears on your screen you would need to read every single instruction written there. That's a must otherwise one silly mistake can waste all your effort.

2. You have to fill all the federal forms, print and Scan as a PDF. Then you would need to upload it on the system when applying for SINP online.

Thanks

Hi,

Have few questions.

1. I need 22,603 for 4 people as proof of fund, I had filled 24000 in EE profile and also with SINP. However, my Provident Fund amount is 30000 which I'm using as POF. I recently updated POF amount to 30000 in EE. Does it make any difference 24k vs 30k? Should I keep it as 24k because I used this number for SINP, only reason I changed it to 30k is to reconcile POF amount in EE and in my EPF statement?

2. I had got H1B petition approved in 2010, however, I never went for visa stamping and this petition might have expired already as it is generally valid for 3 years, Is this something which needs to be mentioned somewhere?

3. I have to fill Addtional Family form(IMM5406E) for me and my wife, who needs to be Applicant on my wife's form. I see differing comments, some said it should be my main because I'm Principal applicant while others said it should be my wife's name.

1. It should not be an issue as you are well above the required limit for 4 members. But it is always better to keep both the account details in sync.
2. I guess no, seniors please confirm.
3. Your spouse should be marked as the applicant in her IMM5406E form.

I agree to some extent because CIC would be easily able to identify if my wife comes as primary in the form.
Below is the guideline

Additional Family Information (IMM 5406)

Who needs to fill out this application form?

This form must be completed by:

You, as the principal applicant,
Your spouse or common-law partner (whether accompanying you to Canada or not), and
Your dependent children aged 18 or over (whether accompanying you to Canada or not).

Let's take a case that my spouse is not coming with me and it's me only who is applying, even in that case she has to fill this form and she certainly can't be applicant in this situation.
There is something wrong with this form or the expectations, I'm worried if I fill it one way and CIC rejects application citing she is not the applicant because she is dependent.

Additional family form should be filled by you and your spouse even if she is not accompanying you. When she is filling this form she will be the applicant. All of us have filled it this way only!!!

That time u would not have time to upload all forms and documents and check your application Properly. And may be you heard this saying, "The early work of the Devil".
So always think Intake has opened and complete the application on the basis of this. This is the only way of successful submission.

Try to fill 2-3 dummy forms by creating different profiles for practice. U would automatically learn the processes. This is very good idea to learn complete Application submission. Learn to search and fix these all necessary forms and documents at there appropriate places in the Application. Here is the List :-

1. Bank certificate, Statement, Passbook Photocopy (POF proof)
2. Educational Records Applicant (Ex. If u mention Bachelor of Science then scan all 3 years Marksheets/Transcripts in PDF format and merge them as a one page using small PDF s/f, if they are in language other than English, then add translation alongwith Translator's affidavit. Show All these as one page. Then for Degree also scan Degree, if other than English Translation and Affidavit, these are also as one page.
* Educational Records Spouse
4. Birth Certificate Applicant
* Birth Certificate Spouse
* Birth Certificate Children
5. Experience Certificate/job Ref. Letters.
6. IELTS Result
7. Marriage Certificate
8. Passport Applicant
* Spouse
* Children
9. Settlement Plan
10. Translator's Affidavit
11. Additional Family Information Applicant IMM5406
* Additional Family Information Spouse
12. Background Declaration Applicant IMM 5669
* Background Declaration Spouse
13. Sch. 4- Economic Classes Provincial Nominee IMM 0008
14. Ethical Conduct Disclosure (Provincial Govt. Form)
15. Generic Application Form IMM 0008
16. Supplementary Information Your Travels IMM 5562

Important Note : Apply Merging procedure for all your documents and Forms, Ex. Generic Form has 10 pages, but u have to show as one page after merging, if they open your page Generic then your 10 pages will open as a file sequence vise.

Very nice advice I also learn by doing this.

Under ID-Documents Summary in PR application, do we need to enter only current passport or previous passports as well?

I hope, it's clear now that jobs and duties you submitted for said NOC were not related. So you would have to align the in demand NOC and your job responsibilities. Next main reason is POF. Funds which you are showing should be at least 3 months old from the date of your SINP application if you they will outright reject. You also need to attach all documents listed in their checklist at the time of SINP application submission.

Thanks and Appreciate your response. I will keep this in mind before applying again.
