Anyone from India used Provident Fund as Proof of Funds?
I had used downloaded Passbook from UAN for SINP application, however, I'm concerned CIC may be asking for signed letter similar to Bank. How did you submit PF as proof of fund successfully at CIC stage?

I also downloaded the online statement but now they are asking to provide the surrender value of the fund. don't know if the EPF office provide such document with surrender value. anybody has any experience from India to deal with such situation?

I just got into a trouble. (Received nomination, was going to accept it)
Just today I logged into my CIC account and changed its password and all the security questions' answers.
After that I successfully logged in using new password, system asked for Security question answers, and I answered according to the new answers that I changed just today. But system did not accept it. And it locked my account. Message " You have answered all of your security questions incorrectly. Your account has been locked. You are no longer able to recover your account online."

I am very much worried about this situation. I just received nomination today and was going to accept it.
Please help me how to recover my account.

Thanks. I called them on 2 different phone numbers. But both of them says to contact CIC. And they say CIC only responds through email (if u r outside canada)

Is it CIC which is asking you for surrender value or SINP.

EPFO doesn't have a process to share such documents, I went to Gurgaon office today and the accounts section guy refused to give a letter and they never issued such thing. However, there was a guy from Hyderabad who was able to get it and has posted his story in other threa, so it's basically on the person who sits in your EPF office.
