To my mind it's optional and depends on the type of the application and all your related circumstances.

I submitted my SINP Express entry application and didn't provide my wife's ECA. When I completed EE profile, the system asked if I could provide my wife's ECA, I chose NO. And that's all about that.

the manual says: "To receive program-specific points for education" - if I see it right, I my case as I didn't provide my wife's ECA, I didn't get any points for her.

I was going through the documents required post ITA @ CIC website. Under proof of studies section it is mentioned that applicant should provide ECA and also the below quote

Individuals who must submit this documentation

The principal applicant
Their spouse or common-law partner

Is ECA mandatory for spouse @ CIC level?

If one is claiming points for Spouse's Education then it should be mandatory.
Same holds for language proficiency and work experience for spouse.

I also have the same thought. But on seeing what they have listed online, I thought I could clarify with the seniors.

Thanks for your reply.

Hi Seniors,

I just received my nomination for SINP EE May 2016. My Oasis account shows application nominated.

I received an email that I have got a new message on myCIC account. When I logged in, I found that my profile has became INeligible, just after my nomination. I don't know, what could be the reason of profile becoming ineligible as my language score, funds, experience everything according to me was fine.

Also it was active before, why it only got ineligible after receiving the nomination. Also I cant select the option now to accept the nomination.

Has any one else experienced the same situation.

advice please

Thanks for your response. My question is do I get 10 or 15 points for my work experience?

If I have 5 years experience prior to application submission date I will get 10 points and if I have 5 years experience in 6-10 year period prior to application submission date I will get 5 points (10+5= 15 points). The reason I am asking is do they count both? Cause they divided it into a and b section

Thanks

That is my question too. Since my major is chemistry and I am not in the occupational in demand list, I am not eligible in this category? Am I eligible for the Saskatchewan express entry? (My points is 63)

Reason is totally weird :( i guess

You did not score a minimum of 60 points on the SINP points assessment grid. You were not
awarded any points for work experience. From SINP assessment, your work experience in the last 10
years is not related to your post‐secondary education in Women Studies and Political Science.
Work Experience Credentials
Your work experience in the past 10 years is not related to your field of education or training.

Anybody else experienced this... please help :-[ :-[ :-[
