Hello All,

This is for my friend.
On 26th January, my friend has received the nomination from SINP while she was single application.
She is planning to get married and confused as to how to add her spouse to the application.

1) She will get married after she receives ITA because since she has accepted the nomination and will get ITA in couple of weeks
After receiving ITA, she has 60 days to file for CIC PR and in this time period marriage is planned.
now the big question? how to file application to CIC including the spouse?
Also you cannot ask for updated nomination with the inclusion of spouse

Note : As per SINP, a nomination will not be revised for a change in family composition (i.e.new child, change in martial status)
Hmm, this is a tough one.

Ordinarily, at CIC stage, if you get married after you have submitted your eAPR, you can add your spouse and they wil get PR along with you.
However, as a SINP applicant, I am not sure how this will play out.
My personal expectation is that CIC should accept it, because they do with every other applicant, also bear in mind that at CIC stage PN applicants are also assessed against either FSW, FST or CEC. I would advise the following;

1. Let your friend proceed with their application at CIC stage and add the spouse after eAPR. It could be accepted
2. Simultaneuosly apply for another SINP application after they get married.

Hi Friends,
How long we've to stay at selected province? Any approximation?

Thanks
Musa

One more tough Scenario,

My friend got nomination on 28 January and i think he has one month to accept the nomination.
My friend has stayed in USA for couple of years and he needs to get FBI PCC. Right now to get FBI PCC, it takes 4 months
to receive. He has applied to FBI PCC in January and he might receive in May if fingerprints are GOOD!!
Luckily he has not accepted the SINP nomination yet, He has 30 days to accept it.
We have read multiple forums on Canadavisa that you can file for CIC PR without FBI PCC and ask the VO for the extension.
But, My friend does now want to go through all that.

As per SINP, Examples of reason you can request a Revision or Extension
CIC requests a revised and/or extended nomination cetificate
You have a new job offer from the same or different employer
You and/or your accompanying family members have obtained new passports
Your nomination certificate is expiring or has expired and you require additional time to submit your application for permanent residency.

Option: Can he ask extension the nomination for another month after 25 days completion saying that he has applied for FBI PCC
and there is a delay to getting the report?

Regards

Hi All,

I have a query about Settlement Funds in SINP.

Can we show investments (fixed deposits) made on our child name where we have been registered as guardians?

Also, In the application guide it is mentioned under Settlement Funds: Only provide documents for accounts that maintain the minimum required value, not documents for all financial assets

Please anyone, can you explain? I dont have all the minimum funds in 1 account and will attach the documents for 5 or 6 accounts, is that ok?

Can someone plz help?

I was in the same situation. I notified SINP about my newborn and they replied this:

"Thank you for keeping the SINP up to date regarding your application. The SINP no longer requires applicants to provide information regarding additional dependents. When applying for Permanent Residency you will be required to send all documents regarding additional dependents. "

So i added my new baby via a CSE to CIC because at the moment i already had sent my application to CIC.

If you havent received ITA yet then just add your new baby to your express entry profile and make sure you meet the POF requirement including your baby.

Also keep in mind that in order to send a complete application to CIC you will need passports and medicals of your newborn. In some countries it takes some time to get passports.

If you think that you will not be able to get his passport before the expiry of your ITA then you should send your application to CIC without the baby and then add him to your application via a CSE.

Good luck.

You get SINP nomination as a single applicant. You get ITA and submit eAPR, then you get married.

This should fall under the 15 points mark.

In that case i think the only way to go is CSE.
