Hello friends,

Do we get any email when we just login to check our status in OASIS portal?

Like any notification that you just login to your portal. !!!

So, far only SINP portal for "Received" to "In Process". I yet don't know about "Waiting on Applicant", "Ineligible" etc status.

Thank you.

Congratulations to all new applicants whose app turn to "in-process".

Good AM/PM fam from all over the world. Quick question, what is the NOC that matches work experience in Information Risk and IT Auditor? Thanks for your feedback

I believe only the switch to "in process" has no notification, as stated in the SINP application guide, while all the others ("waiting on applicant": as there's a doc requirement, "ineligible", "returned", "nominated") do.

Its a bit saddening the way SINP is functioning, i waited for 4 months and 2 days for my application status to come in to "IN PROCESS" state and speculating from this i believe they will go in same fashion. But just now, saw some posts from applicants of 2nd novemeber that their applications are in process in just 18 days. I wonder what has changed in these 4months since i applied in July. Has there been an increase in their office staff or something else. anyways i am happy for those who are lucky ,they did not have to face frustration of logging in to OASIS portal daily ,sometime twice a day and 10 times a week. I hope that SINP works faster in second phase of my application stage and provide the result fast whatever it may be +ve or -ve so that we can plan some alternatives.

The last SINP nomination came 14 days ago for my friend who applied along with me on the same day.. Now they have stopped June'15 and are processing Nov'15

Its unfair.. Life is not fair..

Even my application status is showing "In Process" today on 21st Nov. 2015
I had submitted the application on 3rd Nov. 2015.
Just praying to God now.

Hi! I'd like to ask.. my NOC was previously listed on the in-demand jobs in Sask, but later on it was removed, is there a chance that it will be listed again? I had my credentials verified already, took IELTS test, prepared some documents and got into the EE pool. I am hesitant to continue my application for SINP because I might get denied. My other option here is to let my husband apply as the Principal Applicant and undergo the same process that I had althought its quite costly.

Only the SINP website can let you know whether your NOC will be added or not. You may visit it regularly to check for updates.
If your CRS points are above 450 in EE (with your husband included), then the probability to receive an ITA is very high in the coming few draws.

Hi Experts,

I am in a dilemma for my application to CIC and need your urgent help.

I applied for NOC 2241 in my application to SINP (Sasketchewan PNP) but when I received the nomination letter, the NOC mentioned there was NOC 2281. Upon enquiring as to why there was a change in NOC, I received the following reply from Immigration officer:

"You must have at least one year of full-time paid employment in your intended occupation in the last ten years. Based on your employment credential, your experience in NOC 2241 - Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technologists and Technicians was more than ten years ago and there was less than one year in 2006. The SINP has looked at your alternative experience in NOC 2281."

In reply to above, I sent them another email explaining that my experience is inline with the duties mentioned in under NOC 2241 for the entire 10 years of work experience but after that I never received any reply for the same. Even tried to call them, but nobody responds to it as well.

To worsen the matter, in the meantime, I received the ITA with my application NOC as 2241 in my CIC.

Now, I am in a dilemma on whether should I change the NOC in MyCIC application from 2241 to 2281 or not?

In the absence of any update from SINP, If I change the NOC to 2281 in PR application, and tomorrow they send me an updated letter with revised NOC 2241, then again I would be left in same situation.

Also, kindly suggest me whether should I request my employers to issue me new reference letters based on NOC 2281 or just explain to CIC that though my intended occupation was NOC 2241 but SINP issued me nomination letter for NOC 2281.

Any ideas/advices would be helpful based your experience.
