Hi, just a newbie here...

I have 3 years of work experience for NOC 2211 for the past ten years prior to application, which I should be able to claim 3 points for. However, my work experience for the last 5 years, which is my current occupation, is of another NOC not listed in the occupation in-demand of SINP. I have 4 years of work experience in this current NOC. Can I claim points for this NOC?

Hi Experts,

Need your help again. II am from Bangladesh and got nominated on November 11, 2015 but I did not accept it as there is option for 30 days to accept. My husband went to Denmark for studing with full funded scholarship. I accompanying with my child have already applied for a residence permit as a accompanying family member and probably we will go to Denmark within February, 2016.

Most probably I will get ITA on December, 2015. So, I can submit all of my documents before going to Denmark. My question:

When should I inform about my moving to cic? After getting ITA is there any option to inform or after submitting all documents and going to Denmark I will let them know?

How can I inform them in each case?

Dp you have any idea or experience? Please, let me know.

Background -

When I checked the application before the decision was made on my application, I proactively sent the term deposits details and discrepancies I found in "Settlement of funds" tab.
1. I forgot to attach 1 term deposit receipt.
2. My Term Deposits were renewed in June'15 the same month I have applied for my nomination.

For #1, I have send the communication before the decision made mentioning SINP to add the term deposit amount in the funds.
For #2, SINP asked me to provide old term deposits document to back the claim which I was making.

During this email exchange, my application was rejected due to proof of funds.

I need opinion on weather I should initiate "Secondary Review" process, I feel I qualify because of below reason.
I have proactively communicated about the discrepancies and provided all the documents to SINP before decision was taken on my application.

What do you all think ? Looking forward for your inputs.

As most of u know my circumstances that Firstly I applied in June 15 and my application returned due to less settlement fund , Now i again applied on 4th Nov but my EE profile got ineligible due to my birthday on 20th Nov ......

In order to become eligible again for EE I must improve my IELTS score which is CLB 9 in Speaking and reading , CLB 8 in listening and writing.....Furthermore I am waiting for SINP OID category which does not requier EE profile

I have seen on the forum that few 2nd 3rd Nov applicants became IN PROCESS..... May be its my turn .

Plzzz suggest me should I try to improve my IELTS score and make a new EE profile for Nov application or wait till Jan 16 for SINP OID category???

If say for example I got nomination and unable to make EE profile then what will happened???

Help me understand, why would you become ineligible due to age? You will just loose some points on your EE profile and that does not affect SINP as your EE score doesn't matter here.

Maybe there is something i'm missing?

Anyway, if it solves your issue, register for the next IELTS, you can create a new EE profile and send the details to SINP with LOE.

Better to stick with the noc on the EE list, otherwise you are ineligible

You sound like you have a genuine case and therefore a review might be good. However, you need to weigh that option against waiting for them to reopen in 2016 and applying again.

Someone on the forum reported waiting over 200 days for a review, which is significantly longer or about the same time for a new application.

So, your call.

Thanks, 200 days is insane. I was not aware of such time frame. If that's the case, its always better to apply in Jan.
I will face the same deleima in Jan. 16 as my term deposits mature by Jan 16. How do I provide the proof during that period.
Should I provide old and new term deposits proof while submitting the documents ?

It's possible he turned older than 35, which starts reducing points for FSW eligibility (67 points pass mark).

For EE to be eligible, you still need to qualify as FSW, CEC, or FST.

Improving the IELTS will indeed help FSW eligibility if he can make CLB 9 in ALL 4 tests.
Or have their spouse take IELTS or declare a close relative in Canada.

Unfortunately age is only locked after ITA and not during SINP process.

SINP nomination for EE will give you 600 additional points to your profile. OID is independent of EE and takes significantly longer (based on feedback and SINP website on timelines)

Also, since OID is independent of EE, I imagine that if you're nominated your application for PR would be through the old system or something.

I definitely prefer EE.

Exactly It is, what you are explaining.

As the Name itself has clear meaning "EXPRESS ENTRY",

Therefore, the process of EE is obviously faster than OID (traditional paper based applications)

Yes, and age is a selection factor in FSW.
So it means he is more than 35 years old, at least. The penalties for age start upon turning 36.
