Yes you should ifrom CIC, they will put your application on hold until the child is born
Informing SINP is important too, you cannot apply for PR for anyone whose name is not on the nomination certificate
If you inform sinp after nomination they have the right to reject your nomination certificate,
coz you should disclose all material facts when applying for immigration, a change in family composition which you are well aware and did not disclose will qualify as misrepresentation, even if the did not specifically asked for information, you may get nomination without informing SINP but you cannot apply for your kids PR, if its name is not mentioned on nomination certificate, in that case if you apply for revision for nonimation or inform CIC they will definitely quest you as to why this information was withheld by you
basic principles respecting misrepresentation inadmissibility. For instance:
• that it is not necessary to have intent to mislead or misrepresent, an innocent misrepresentation is still a misrepresentation;
• the misrepresentation does need to have masked a ground for refusal. It is not necessary to show that the hidden information would have made the individual inadmissible, and;
After all its your choice, you are the one to make the final decision
Hi Zohalib,
You have said a lot of things, which really I agree with you. However, in concluding you have also not considered other things which may be material. I did not read anywhere in the guidelines which talks about pregnancy or unborn child.
1. We do not know if the child is going to be male or female.
1a. Only when a child is born can we talk of name, date of birth, gender etc
2. It is likely the nomination and PR process is super fast such that the birth happens after all has been achieved
3. God forbid! What if something happens to the pregnancy.
4. Remember CIC always ask for changes in family composition prior to final decision being made.
5. Whatever the case is , it is easy to prove that the child was conceived after the application submission date
Just a few scenarios.
I really do not think pregnancy status falls as misrepresentation but then the final decision rest with the applicant.
My own opinion is that , get your nomination first and if the child is born before PR application , inform CIC
More importantly, ensure you have the required additional funds ( plan for multiple birth ;D) in place should you not have your PR before the child is born.
