Please do I need to get reference letter from employers to apply to SINP?

This is right from the application guide. Hope it helps. I think, you would want to read the application guide thoroughly.

Documentation must include a letter of reference from the supervisor or Human Resources officer for each work experience listed that is printed on company letterhead, applicant’s official work book or other official government document. A letter of reference must state the job title, job duties, wage and duration of employment.

Work Experience Credentials
You must submit letters of reference from previous employers to prove your work experience for each work experience listed for the point assessment grid.
Documentation must include letters of reference from the supervisor or Human Resources Officer printed on company letterhead or the, applicant’s official work book or other official government documents. Each letter should indicate the following:
• your job position and dates of employment;
• your main duties/responsibilities;
• the number of hours you worked each week if the position was not full-time; and,
• the contact information of your supervisor or manager.

Hello guys

I hope everybody follows the SNIP guide carefully,

For just gentle reminder

please be careful about the following things.

1. if your occupational education and work experience is in a regulated
profession, you will be required to obtain the appropriate Saskatchewan
qualification recognition to be able to work in that profession.

2.If you intend to work in an occupation that requires licensing or certification in
Saskatchewan, you must contact the provincial, national and/or industrial regulatory
association before applying for nomination to verify that you will be able to meet
licensing or certification requirements.

Refer the following website
http://www.saskimmigrationcanada.ca/is-my-occupation-regulated/

All engineering departments will come under Regulated professions

Can u plz show some link gangster9rls.

I m not convinced at all that all the engineering professions is regulated or require credential assessment. And for the family physician so far i have seen its not regulated profession and not required any license, from the specialist (doctor) will require license.

But again to what I read and understand:
- if you fall under regulated profession, you do not need to verify your credentials before applying for nomintaion. That will be required after you arrive.
- in case if your occupation requires liecnsing or certifiaction, then you need to confirm before applying for nomination.

Is my understanding correct, folks?

As simple as, go to your municipality (or likewise gvt. body) who issued your original certificate and ask them to provide you an english version.

If that does not work, get it translated.... Application guide says as follows for transalation:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All documents must be clear and easy to read scanned copies of the original documents. If your documents are not in English or French, you must submit all of the following:
• a scanned copy of the original document;
• a scanned copy of the English or French translation of the document; and,
• a scanned copy of an affidavit from the translator describing their translation ability.

Translators can be any person other than your family member or spouse. Translators must not work for or be a paid consultant or representative who is preparing the application. The federal government requires that the translator is certified by a regulatory body as a translator. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that translations meet all federal requirements.

If documents are missing, not translated, or unclear your application will be rejected with instructions on what is required or missing and how to apply again.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hope this helps!

Yes.

Actually i didnt find any indication for the credential assessment, if u are in regulated profession then u have to apply for the license from the proper authority of Saskatchewan before application.

@regina_jy,

Even my understanding is similar to you, what if someone with the profession enters Canada and does not practice the same profession.
