Hello guys

I hope everybody follows the SNIP guide carefully,

For just gentle reminder

please be careful about the following things.

1. if your occupational education and work experience is in a regulated
profession, you will be required to obtain the appropriate Saskatchewan
qualification recognition to be able to work in that profession.

2.If you intend to work in an occupation that requires licensing or certification in
Saskatchewan, you must contact the provincial, national and/or industrial regulatory
association before applying for nomination to verify that you will be able to meet
licensing or certification requirements.

Refer the following website
http://www.saskimmigrationcanada.ca/is-my-occupation-regulated/

All engineering departments will come under Regulated professions
Ok guys, I got it. Please correct me if I am wrong. I think this will hold good for IT professionals like me. They need to just get their Educational credentials assessed. This is being done by WES as part of the requirements for FSW 2013. So I am through with this part as well. God Please have mercy on me and let me be ready with all the required documents and also hope that my nomination be approved

Gangster

Just check the below link wherein its mentioned that WES is also a regulatory authority for judging educational credentials, both for Province and general migration.

Nevertheless, I will also take your suggestion and write to the SNIP authorities and get it in writing so that I dont keep this for the last minute. Thanks for your help

For the online application you have to wait till Jan 2nd 2014. Now its as per the current requirements which is having a job offer in hand

As far as I could gather its only 4 trades Electrician, Plumber, Refrigeration Mechanic and Sheet Metal Worker that are regulated in Saskatchewan. And I intend to work as Network Technician or Computer programmer. So I don't think in my or any other occupation but the above four need to be registered/regulated or wteva needed before applying. Is that correct fr rest part could be completed even applying but before landing or stating job. Its really confusing whom are to be assessed but I think compulsory assessed are just the four ones meaning before applying.

I partly agree with you abcpunjab as Hospitality and Medical professionals also have to be regulated. However as gangster has pointed out we IT professionals have to get our educational assessment from the accredited agencies as per the SNIP program of recognised agencies. I already have one from WES and have written an email to SK seeking clarification whether this is needed while filing the nomination. We need to wait for them to publish the requirements

Collect all your personal documents which includes
Passport Pages with Information for self and dependants
Educational Certifications for self and dependants
Trade certificates if any for self and dependants
Marriage Certificates (if applicable)
Proof of Funds from Savings Accounts, Term Deposits, Mutual Funds, etc which have to be stable for 3 months and during the course of this process
Settlement Plan (one which is currently not clear)

Scan all these documents and when the Online application opens up you have to be ready to upload them and wait for them to process. This if your nomination gets approved, then apply to CIC using this nomination

Health professionals without fail have to get this done even before filing but for non health apart from these four rest can do this anytime even after filing and even after landing but anyway before starting to work in their profession for these people restriction of before filing does not hold. but yea before working in Saskatchewan holds.

As you rightly pointed out only Engineering, Hospitality and Health professionals require regulation. However for IT professionals, it says you can licence yoursleves. Do you or anybody have any idea whether this is mandatory or not while we submit our SNIP application
