Based on the speed of processing it does appear they have put it on pause...
but ideally they should announce if they are putting PNP on pause.

PEI formally announced pause on immigration earlier this year and even SINP announced certain type of work permit on pause.

Not doing any draws this year...indicates that things are not looking bright

I dont think so its paused for EE . I read on FB blogs , people who were invited for interviews in may 2024 interviews have started gettIng nominations 2 days back !!! i personally feel its just slow . Dont loose hope ..

what is the meaning of they are putting OID files processing on pause? will they just delay them or gonna cancel the ITAs?

Someone commented above that sinp is only processing job offer files and that means indefinite delays on other applications.

Hi Everyone, i spoke to SINP today and they confirmed that processing has not stopped for EE applicants . She said it just that they have a very large volume of inventory & its taking lot of time …but the processing is still ON…

So Is anything on pause or was it all speculation? As far as I know the most reliable indicator of anything on pause would be a public statement which SINP has not given. They did mentioned some Occupations and NOC code which are not eligible anymore earlier this year but that was it,

Agree there has been a list of ineligible occupations published recently , but what i have mentioned above is exactly what the SINP personnel mentioned …. For further details please call SINP & clarify your doubts.

I don't think they are going to tell you anything over a call. Unless there is a policy decision where they are prioritising one kind of application over another, it is all speculation.

Please call them & gather some peace of mind for urself .. which is important now.

guys actually, my agent said that if you try to ask them too much, they might put the application for second review, hence I have avoided the call. I had mailed them a month back and the answer was "the application is in queue for processing as we are working to verify the information submitted with your application."

Congratulations Anu ! Seems a good day for all the country specific draw candidates who attended their interview in Delhi.

Looks like we July AR guys and a handful of June ones are a odd bunch. Still no progress in our applications. God know how they are trying to process our files.

They are rejecting too a lot. due to various reasons even interview appeared candidates. but they are processing so soon you will hear something too.
