Does that mean they have read my email response?

today my application status changed from in process to Waiting on applicant. they have added my setl plan to the application, but i have not received any email or additional doc request. is this normal or will i receive a request?

I just want to ask, the status of our application is "application returned"
but there is no email from them as to why our application was returned.
Should we wait for the email or should we call them and ask why our application
was returned?

Wait for a couple of days and check with them if it still dosent change to In process
