Can someone confirm if SINP Express entry has got an On demand occupation list? The issue is i have got recent 5 years of 0231 (NOC) experience & previous 4 years of 2731 (NOC) experience..

This will impact my points if express entry is tied to On Demand Occupation list.

please advice

Yes One_Topsy.. I have seen the In demand Occupation list on the express entry guide but failed to understand what is the difference between the 2 categories: Express entry & In demand..

Both of them has got the same In demand occupation list & not sure what reason they have kept these 2 categories which relates directly to In Demand.

The only difference is in Express entry - we need to be accepted in the express entry pool which is not a big deal anyways..

Bit Strange & not sure what's the rationale here.

Hello suvadeepg,
It's quite rational. They show the list of occupations which are required by labor market trends right now. It doesn't matter what way they will get those specialists.

SINP Express entry requires you to be in EE pool + your NOC must be in demand list. When they nominate you, you get 600 extra points for EE + ITA in next draw. Your processing time at CIC stage is 6 months or less.

SINP Occupation in demand requires your NOC to be in demand list. When they nominate you, you file paper application to CIC (old system) and wait for processing.

@Trennis: I understand they have made the In demand Occupation list as per Labor Market trend but it doesn't explain what is the advantage of having In demand occupation list in both EE and IN- demand Category .. In that sense they should have kept one category open.

@One_Topsy - Your explanation has clarified why they have introduced 2 different stream names whereas opted for In Demand Occupation list in both Categories..

Its all about the processing time it takes in both these categories.

thanks for the explanation.. It helps!

Settlement Plan:

To prepare a settlement plan according to SINP instructions, just follow the steps below:

STEP#01 ----> just go to the URL: http://www.cic.gc.ca/lctvac/english/index

STEP#02 ----> Answer all the questions properly.

STEP#04 ----> At the end, you would find a PRINT button, just PRINT the Settlement Plan.

STEP#05 ----> Scan the Settlement Plan.

in the second page there is a question "Has your application to come to Canada been approved?", which option should i follow? am asking this because if i select "Have not applied", then Question segment ends there.

No need to scan every single page,

Just scan Bio Data page, and scan the current residence permit of the country (If Applicable)

I work for an organization during 2004 - 06 for which I would like to claim points. However, at the time of resignation I arranged Experience Certificate from the said organization. But the employment certificate as required by Canada Immigration/PNP, I am not in a position to arrange so. Because of the the fact that two of my reporting supervisor already left organization.

So considering this scenario, anybody please suggest what could I do? Can I prepare a Statutory Declaration by myself and attach my experience certificate, pay slips etc.? I can refer one my superior's email address so that they can talk to him if needed.

Do you think is OK, say, for submitting SINP or EE?

Thanks in advance for your suggestion.

Hi,

How updated my document should be. Suppose, I have all scanned signed documents tried to apply during November intake but failed. Are those documents OK? Or I need to prepare new signed documents?

Please suggest.
