Hi,

I am currently working in the USA and have applied for SINP couple of months ago. It is still being adjudicated and am yet to get a nomination.

Now, my employer is relocating me to Canada and to a different Province XX next month on a Work Permit.

What is the impact to my PNP? Do I need to inform SINP about my move to Province XX on a Work Permit? If I inform, would there be a chance of rejection based on close tie with other province? Or is it absolutely normal to apply for SINP while residing in another Province?

Appreciate your suggestion and guidance.

Hi,

You do not need to inform SINP regarding your move, but in case you want to apply for that particular province PNP then you'll have to withdraw your SINP application.

Good luck!

Yes there is requirement for nominated provincial applicants to live in the particular province of nomination.

I remember reading somewhere on another forum that its not a written rule that PNP applicant has to stay and work in that province only. Ofcourse, there is a moral obligation, but not any legal constraint.

Please share a link if you have read about this rule somewhere.

It is possible, but have to face many difficulties and provide lot clarifications. Because SINP has mentioned already in Application Guide about 2 years stay.

Hi all. I am new to this forum. :) My points are 345 in Express Entry and do not have Job offer, so planning to go for PNP.
I am an IT Engineer and working in Network and System support / Security Analyst role, total combined experience of 4 years.
Can some one please suggest which state will be better for me to apply? I have one state in mind i.e. SINP, what do you guys think about it?
What is the full process for SINP and when will it reopen?

Hello,

You are welcome.
The provinces open at different times of the year, with specific lists of occupations they are looking for. You are right to consider SINP, you may also want to consider NSNP. Find below links that would give you more information about both provinces' immigration program(s).

SINP: https://www.saskatchewan.ca/residents/moving-to-saskatchewan/immigrating-to-saskatchewan/saskatchewan-immigrant-nominee-program
NSNP: http://www.canadavisa.com/nova-scotia-provincial-nominee-program.html

All the best.

Hi ashuindian. I think my duties might fall in 2281 which is not there in SINP occupation list. So what should i do now? Was it there in SINP list previously? Will it be added again?

You have only one NOC 2171 which will applicable after some alteration in your experience Certificate. NoC 0213 is very tough and needs high qualification and expectations. And this is good to choose always low grade NOC.
2. Yes, and it was very popular and easy to apply.
3. Probably no, because in future day by day immigration process become more tough.

Probably it will open in OCt./Nov. Deposit POF now for Oct./Nov. cause it needs 3 months old fund deposit (strictly), remember to check the amount for family (you, spouse, and kids.). It is compulsory the fund have to maintain according to all family members, whether they will accompany you or not.

NBPNP is a better choice for your NOC. This is one of their priority NOCs in that province. Give it a shot. It's open now.
