Hey i sent my application last year in July 2015 and i get pre AOR last week on June 18, 2016.
I know AOR. What is Pre AOR?

Guys, please advise who else sent paper based appications to CIC office after being nominated in the SINP OID stream?
Are there significant differences comparing with the Express Entry processing?
Seems like I was instructed to send the paper based application as in my OASIS profile I had not inidicated my Express Entry profile.

What is the possible timeline in gettting PR viasas for paper based applications?

Hope to get clear advices from seniors and experiences members of this forum.

Thanks!

Hi,

If nominated from OiD category then you'll have to submit the paper based package to CIO Nova Scotia. Application package and the required docs. as well as the checklist is indicated in your nomination certificate.

The average processing time for PNP paper based is 15 months.

Goos luck!

in pre AOR they asked whether you applied for any other province or did u receive ITA in between.
If you say yes then they won't proceed with your application.
If you say no then they will proceed with your application and if they approved they will send u nomination.
Actually its almost one year when i have applied for Nova Scotia, so that's why they want to make sure about these things.

Guys, I am very pleased to share my joy with you! :)
Yesterday on June 22 I was nominated by SINP!!! It is wonderful!
My NOC is 6221. Application submission date is January 3, 2016.

Received two documents: one with nomination certificate, another with further steps intstruction.
As per these docs, my application to CIC should be paper based, not through the Express Entry system.

Wish you all guys best of luck! God bless us!

Congratulations!

Dear sookie85,
thanks for your response and wishes.

Have you applied through the SINP OID also and sent paper based application? What is your time frame till getting AOR, med's request, etc?

Guys, please share your experience!

Who else submitted docs through the SINP OID?
Does it really take 15 months for passing complete immigration process after being nominated?
The difference is so huge comparing with the Express Entry.

At the time of my application submission I did not know that there were different options provided by SINP.
Honestly, still do not understand the difference between OID and Express Entry of SINP.
Are they both actual for the required occupations (skilled workers with no job offer)?

Hi,

Has anyone tried to contact CIC call center agent on +1888 242 2100 from Canada recently. I am trying to call them from 3 days now and tried all the options but could not able to reach out to agent. I have also tried pressing 0 but no luck. If anyone has called CIC recently please let me know what is the procedure ASAP.

Regards,
Gunjan

Hi,

You can see my timeframe under my signature. And yes I am a SINP OiD Nominee. I mailed the application on 7th of June 2015 and got AoR on 7th of August so in total 2 months. Until meds request it has been around 10 months.

Yeah, I saw your time frame in the signature, just was not sure if it was actual.

Of course EE is faster, just the most important point is to get PR visas! So, we can wait a little more ;)

Hello members, please help! I am SINP EE January 4 applicant and I got Ineligible for nomination letter. The reason is
"Requirements not met:
Principal Applicant ‐
Does not meet minimum 60 out of 100 points, as work experience in the position "University Laboratory Assistant" is not in‐demand in Saskatchewan."
My primery NOC is 4011, as I have worked as a university lecturer for 3 years (2012-2015) but my current job is university laboratory assistant (2015- up to now). I don't understand the reason of ineligibility? Please advise what to do? I am going to work again in lecturer position from Setember 2016. Should I write a letter asking second review if yes what to write?

yes you should ask for secondary review if u have submitted ur 3 yrs of experience as university lecturer .... remember NOC 4011 is not in demand now therefore for now asking secondary review is the only option u have
