SINP 2015 WITHOUT JOB OFFER LET'S DREAM HERE !

Hi

I have a question regarding POF. i attached bank statement for last 3 months, it is stamped and signed by bank. i didn't attach anything relating to currency conversion from AED to Canadian Dollar. Am i responsible to convert it or SINP will do the conversion by itself?

if i am missing anything, my application still in "Received" state, i have time to submit them revised POF, pls suggest.

Hi, it will be converted by SINP. You do not need to worry except if you want to send them an email converting the amount using oanda classic converter in the body of the email and attach a copy of the bank statement in AED. This is just an added step.

From experience, it's not really beneficial to contact them requesting a status update. The only thing they respond to is if you send additional docs.
Probably best to wait, except if you have additional information to give them.

Hello Fellows,

I did apply for SNIP under Saskatchewan Express entry in December 2016 (NOC 4011). My total points were 65. My application status is “In process”. I do hope that I will be nominated soon. However, I have one issue.

I may declare some things wrong in work experience. I got my Ph.D. degree in December 2004. From January 2005 to August 2005, I worked full-time at one university. My duties at this school were teaching for undergrad students and doing research. When, I applied for SNIP, I asked a reference from my first employer. They informed that I worked for them during this period without title confirming. I did not check their letter carefully Cry. In addition, I think that my job title was “lecturer” during the period, I declared to have experience work as a lecture from January 2005 to August 2005. As you see, I do not want to cheat the SNIP. I have no reason to do that. My total point is higher than the requirement of the program.

I do not know what I am going to do know. Do I need to ask my first employer to write the reference again, then submit it to SNIP? It may take me a lot of time to do that since I am currently working in Canada now.
Or I can write letter to SNIP that I want to withdraw the points that I had earned from January 2005 to August 2005?
Or I will waiting from SNIP.

if I do not do any things, when I get the SNIP nomination, can delete the working experience from January 2005 to August 2005 in MyCIC. The reason is that I do not want to ask the reference letter again. I have to write application for the letter and send mail to them, and wait for their approval. Last time, it take me more one months to get the letter Angry. Hence, I could not apply on November.

Even if the job title is not mentioned in the referenxe letter, are the duties mentioned? If yes, are they that of a lecturer? In this case, I wouldn't worry as SINP will look for job duties in the letter. However, if job duties are not mentioned and your subsequent work experience ( barring Jan 2005 to August 2005) meets the work experience requirements for SINP, it will not be a problem also.
This becomes a problem only if you job duties are not listed and you are depending on points you will gain from this work experience, which I doubt cos you worked for 8 months and also it was 10 years back and I am sure you have sufficient work experience now to meet requirements. My opinion is not to do anything and wait for the process to be completed. All the best.

Hello Hero Darklord,

Thank for your detail explanation. Yesterday, I sent an email to explain to SNIP. I would like to clarify that I did not intentionally make any misrepresentation as I did not remember about my job title during this period. The fact is that my qualification and my level of responsibility were both the same as a lecturer which was showed in the reference letter. In addition, the result of this minor error (if it could be) is my application point total should be 64 instead of 65 both of which meet the point requirement.

I am worry since I do not have more documents to proof this position. In addition, I do not want to delay my processing time 8)
In your opinion, how long to chance from “In process” to “Nomination”? I do hope that I can get PR card in summer. I did all police check .

Yes, I am in Riyadh.. You need to attach the translation of Iqama along with current passport bio pages. This is required to prove your residency in KSA. All the best man..
