You can try your luck but it has already been reached 24 hrs ago. SINP will update their threshold website first thing tomorrow morning Sask time.

Thanks Bro! bit disappointed ...may be better luck next time!

Do you think there may be more chances for such w/o job opportunities considering not many applicants applied under 'with Job' category? there are 3000+ applications left remaining as of now. what do you think?

It can possible but its up to them as they already allowed 1000 new without job offer quota. But it is highly likely that they will open this scheme again in January next. The bizarre thing is they opened it without letting anyone know so majority of the people were not ready for this spontaneous offer. I was lucky enough to get my docs submitted on 22nd Sept 2015. was already rejected this year in January due to lack of funds for 3 months prior to application submission. will this time.... finger crossed.

You are going to make it (first God) this time !

A big question!

- May I travel to Canada only for a week in order to apply for the PR Card?

- May I provide CIC the address of a Friend and then he could send me the PR card to my country?

- Do you think that I would have problems in my second travel, because I leave Canada very soon the first time?

- How long you need to wait for a Permanent Card to arrive?

- In my first travel all the family must travel with me, or only the main applicant is enough?

I need to enter Canada, only to gain some time because my grown child immigration process is in an early stage,
so I need to look after him for some time in my country, before landing Canada.

Some light on this, I really appreciate it

Thank you folks

Yes you can.

Yes, you should also give your friend address for your SIN, bank account and Sask health card. But bear in mind in order to get medical covered you may have to wait for 3 months.

- Do you think that I would have problems in my second travel, because I leave Canada very soon the first time?
If you have your PR with you. You shouldn't have any problem in entering again.

- How long you need to wait for a Permanent Card to arrive?
1-2 months average

- In my first travel all the family must travel with me, or only the main applicant is enough?

You can travel alone first or with your whole family but bear in mind accompanied family cannot travel first before you.

This is a legitimate reason to convince immigration officer if they ask you something on your 2nd entry. Please also check various forum on this website regarding this.

Thank you arsal385!

My initial idea was to try to get a Study Visa for my grown child, but I think this is not practical because
is too expensive, and he needs to learn English First and after that enter to a post secondary education.

An English Course in Saskatchewan cost 12,000 Cad and After that a post secondary study another 12,000
and in every student visa he needs to prove another 10,000 cad a proof of funds.

So I think is better for Us, to wait for him, to finish his post-secondary education in our country and
after that apply to Saskatchewan.

Arsal,

Do you think that in the second entrance, Do I need to request from CIC another document , or follow another procedure
or the PR Card and Passport will be enough to re-enter Canada?

Thank you

Second entry - You need the travel document (freshly issued by visa office) or pr card from your first entry. Visa wont be enough.

Basic questions - Is he immigrating with you now? So you mean, he will finish his post secondary within one year of your visa?

If he is immigrating with you then i would say just deal with the problems within Canada. Always there is a problem in life (some problem or the other). Its not easy but there are issues you can consider which comes while applying for citizenship (rules for the kids over 14 (require english knowledge test) and residency requirements apply for kids over 18). May be you can call them at the end of the visa period whereas you can travel first and get some decent job and save some money in a year which will give you some relief.

Of course, only you can understand fully on your situation hence you can rethink again and take a call.

Guys,
Question for POF:
1. Can I use my car as an additional fund? how should put it in the form?

Thanks,

Car or motor vehicle is NOT considered an asset but a liability. I may be wrong but IMO, this is how it works

Asset - Liability = Settlement Funds

Best of luck!

Thanks,
Why do we have confusion when its clearly mentioned in the guide. It has to be (easily) convertible cash. Not the assets of that kind.

Guide:
Only the following funds will be accepted: checking accounts, savings accounts,
GICs, Mutual Funds, RRSPs, TFSAs, term deposits and time deposits.

Thank you harirajmohan,

The situation is that my child is 20 years old, so he couldn't be part of my SINP 2015 application, so one strategy
for us was, that he applied for a Student Visa, to reunite the family in Saskatchewan this June 2015 (of course if we get COPR)

but, I've doing some calculation, and the money is not enough to pay his English and then post secondary education in Canada,
ant to cover our settlement in Sas.

He is going to finish her post-secondary study until December 2016, so I would like to enter Canada before the expire date of our COPR.
gain some time and re-enter Canada 2017, after he make his own immigration process, hopefully he could apply for an express entry process

Jose,
As a permanent resident of Canada you have rights to stay 3 years of 5 years out of Canada and it won't make any trouble for your permanent resident situation. In your case, you can enter Canada with your family when you received your visa and finish your landing procedures and then as you mentioned before, you can leave Canada without your PR card and your friend can receive and post your PR card to you later. You can stay out of Canada until your child finish his post secondary education and also he can learn English in this time and then you can return back to Canada and try to get a study visa/Work permit/Job offer for him and he can join the family in Canada later. ;)

Dear Arsal: I am applying as a bachelor and as of now in my bank the amount is 4000CAD while required is 12000CAD, but i have bought a home of 80000CAD and a car of 18000CAD. Can i show these for the funds? because this time while applying i haven't uploaded the bank statement? because they didn't asked about it.
what do you suggest brother
