I have got my File transfer email on 06/08/2015. Bt still not able to track my file on cic.gc.ca website(Check your application status) and not even got my medical request. Should I send a email to Canadian immigration ?

Online access - 1. Check if you are trying with correct input values. 2. if are trying correctly then call the call center. they might guide you.
For one person same happened and got access after few weeks.

MR - No one knows when the vo will send. so you will have to wait. it looks like today there are posts on MR hence it might be coming this month.

I sent as DD... So copy of the same will be fine?

If its DD then send the copy of receipt you sent it through post or delivery receipt along with copy of dd or receipt of dd.

Anyone tried for upfront medicals?
I tried but few of the doctors offices were not able to verify the uci from their end. Will it be some kind of enabling during medical request from cic/vo so that we dont do medical before they ask for?

I am also thinking of doing an upfront medicals in the mean time. But also worried if this will add up processing time rather than making it less. Few people did their medicals but I am not 100% sure to take this risk,

I think only when your visa office send you Medical Request, they add a new record with your fields of information from your application and a unique IME number in the internal Medical system (it is accessible by doctors and CIC) and when they didn't send you medical request yet, it means your record doesn't exist in medical system and doctors can't find your record there because doctors don't have access to main CIC system!

Yes Victor. It looks that way. I emailed couple of guys in India as well. One of them said they could not pull up my record. Another one said that they could not find my IME associated with my uci.
In US three doctor offices told me that they could not find my UCI in the system. Couple of them tried with my passport & name detail but no luck.
So may be the doctor office is trying to look for IME (for the uci) not uci itself. Either way it looks like i will have to wait. : ???

I did and my doctor could not pull up my record either.

I think people who don't get medical request - they are either placed under family class or foreign worker to get an upfront medical done and so their doctors assign them a new IME number and enter them in the system and later ask CIC connect it to the right file.

But, when CIC sends you medical request - then CIC already assigns you a IME number.

My doctor suggested me to contact CIC regarding this matter but as we all know CIC rep. won't tell you to go for upfront medical in our case regardless of whether they even know the procedure or no.
