at the very end, there are steps that says

Submit the document checklist.

Sign the form
The application must be signed and dated before it is submitted.

When they say "Sign the form" which form are they referring to?

Would it be 'Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008]'?

When I submitted the generic application form IM0008 to SINP, I chose Regina as my city of destination. When submitting to CIC, do you guys know if it will be taken against me if change my city of destination to Saskatoon instead?

I know I can hop from one city to another (within Saskatchewan) after landing but I'm more concerned about filling up the form. Does CIC have a copy of the forms we submitted to SINP and will they cross-reference all the forms we submitted previously to the new ones we're going to mail in to them?

Appreciate your thoughts people. Have a great weekend!

Not sure what all forms are being shared in this automated internet world. So its better use the same city for consistency till you are inside the province. You can move the next day anyway.
It wont be a problem as long as its in the same province.

Here I have some question regarding information and document check list.

I have 2 passport which are linked as old to the newer passport. In oldest passport, I have travel information for 5 days to another country before 6 years. As per CIC travel document, I have to put last 10 years travel information and proof. So according to this, I have to put this information on IMM5562E form. However, I was given did not travel on previous IMM5562E form which had submitted during SINP online submission. So my question, if I add my travel information now, Will it create any problem?

Now I have questions about document attached to all form.
1. Am I need to include my ECA, Certificate and transcript?
2. Am I need to include my experience certificate?
3. Am I need to include settlement fund like as Bank statement now?

all these documents are clearly not mentioned on document checklist.

Please help me for all of my confusion.

I understand that your previous documents submitted to SINP are worthless.
The only valid documents are those that you are going to send now, so make any adjustments
that you consider necessary.

Provide only the documents required by checklist, the process is very straight forward.
No more information is required, CIC trust Saskatchewan made his work and Nominate you
based in that information.

Only for curiosity, why decided to change from Regina to Saskatoon?

In 2014, according to this site

Regina was 9 and Saskatoon 13

Hi
As you are applying through a PNP program, you can go and settle each city inside that province. Even SINP won't have anything to do with your final destination inside Saskatchewan because all of their cities are equal for them and you can choose every one you like.

Another important thing about entering Canada after receiving your permanent resident visa is: Canada is a special country and like many other countries in the world, you, as a air passenger, need to enter Canada from some major cities and there isn't any international flight for many of smaller cities. Unfortunately Saskatchewan province is among those limited destinations inside Canada and there won't be any international flight in Regina or Saskatoon airport. Only there are flights from/to Las Vegas and Phoenix inside USA and you can't use those cities as a immigrant to enter Canada because they need USA visa and you don't have. Then you need to enter Canada from one of the major cities like Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver,...

Here I want to explain more with one example: Assume you received your Saskatchewan permanent resident visa and you are planning to immigrate to Canada, You will go to buy a ticket for example from China. There won't be any flight to Regina or Saskatoon from outside Canada then you need first go to Toronto and then use another flight to reach to Regina or Saskatoon. If you know the landing procedure, then every city you enter Canada for the first time using your PR visa will be your landing place (And it is not your living place, it is only your landing place)! And it means all of you guys have your SINP PR visa and you enter Canada through Toronto then Toronto will be your landing city inside Canada and you need to fill immigration forms inside Toronto, Not in Regina or Saskatoon! It doesn't mean you can live inside Toronto (ON) but that is a defined procedure for every immigrant who wants to enter Canada and live in SK!

All of the above means, It is not important to write Regina OR Saskatoon in your forms because you need to land in Toronto,Calgary,Vancouver first and nobody will tell you why! It is important you settle inside SK and start your new life there! ;) ;D

As I understood in the last year, for those who are living in Saskatchewan, living in Regina or Saskatoon is a controversial matter! Both cities are good place to live inside SK but as I know Regina as a center of province has more governmental related jobs (or job opportunities at all) but Saskatoon is a bigger city and it has more population and as I heard it is more beautiful than Regina! House rent inside Regina is a little more expensive than Saskatoon but the weather is about 2-3 degree warmer than Saskatoon in winter!

As you can see every city has it's own positive and negative points and it is totally controversial matter to live in which one, Regina or Saskatoon?! :P

I am also thinking to go and live in Saskatoon instead of Regina!

Whats your opinion my friends? ;)

Some points about these two ciries :
Actually they both have the same amount of crime in relation to size, there is a lot of gang activity in both cities as well as drugs. BUT having said that..there are a lot of nice areas in both cities where you are removed from it, sure it happens in the city, but unless you spend a lot of time in the downtown area of either city, or in the West Side of S'toon your exposure will be limited.

Saskatoon is a very beautiful city, with the river and the pathways on either side. As well as there are some nice areas outside the city to visit along the river, there is the Berry Farm on Valley Road as well as Cranberry Flats etc, as for living outside the city, you would could look at Warman, Martensville, Osler, etc to the North. In the city you can look at Sutherland, Forest Grove, Lawson Heights, Silver Spring, etc as some of the better areas to live in. Even down around Market Mall is pretty good.

I prefer Saskatoon as I lived there for 10 years. Regina does have its fine points as well. Regina has Wascana Park and such, and is home to the Provincial Legislative Buildings. Regina would have more of the historical features, but even that is pretty limited, Saskatoon is the nicer looking of the 2 cities in my opinion

Regina is way way friendlier, and has much more to do. Great shopping, better than Saskatoon, a super university, more events, such as the Flat Land festival, more and better restaurants and pubs. Its also further south and has better weather, which is cold anyhow in the winter.

The crime statistics in Regina reflect a higher native population and the crime is pretty much in the "Hood" a place you never have to go to. Even their mayor said the crime statistics are misleading because of the crimes by Indians against Indians.

I feel perfectly safe in Regina and dont know anyone who has beem a victim of crime, not even having a B&E on their house.

Downtown Regina would be Scarth Street Mall area and its a very safe area, its a pedestrian area with live entertainment all summer long, a really fun place to be, with patio cafes and a few good coffee places, and the best pizza in the world !

Regina also has the Rough Riders so you can go to games !

There are four or five major malls, The Gap etc, there is usually something going on at the University, and Regina has the Free House ! Lots of Patio cafes and pubs in the summer.

Regina has lovely old bldgs, Wascana park, Imax, there is something going on almost every weekend ! Regina is a very clean and beautiful city and IMO Saskatoon is just blaaahh compared to it. Lots of trees and green spaces, flowers, a great place to ride your bike. Regina has character, and to me Toon town has always looked like some unattractive boxes plopped down here and there without design or character. Its not a fun city like Regina is IMO

check the actvities guide for Regina

I was never bored in Regina, in fact couldnt find the time to do everything I wanted to do

It depends on what your interests include. Saskatoon is closer to the north, with all of its recreation opportunities, and has the University of statue in, which is an older, stodgier and more conservative university then the University of Regina.

On the other hand, Regina has the seat of government and all those lucrative provincial government jobs, plus a professional football team and it is closer to the United States. The two cities are pretty similar, really

As you all my friends see it quite depends on you and your interests for choosing your appropriated city . those words are people's point of view who lived in both cities during several years

Dear Sinppp2015 please tell me about the initial job situation in Regina nd Saskatoon. I do understand initially we do have to survive doing any job we get like supermarket, McDonald etc. I prefer to engage in any job initially rather to sit at home. So please elaborate the situation and any advice if you have for new comer...

Job opportunities in regina is a bit more than saskatoon because of being capital and also existing more governmental offices although the rate of existing job opportunities is approximately equal between these two cities. I myself prefer saskatoon than regina ofcourse different people different taste and an informed choice can help us regarding our future life and as all of us know choosing city is one of the most important choices for our future life . I myself also prefer to have an initial work rather than sitting at home. I've heard this can be absolutely effective since you will get used to people culture and society little by little . we have to take it into consideration that where there is a will there is a way and for gaining an ideal job you should have a few patient

Good travel tip Victor. I was also thinking there would be at least one big airport where there will be direct flight to land instead of going through some other city. Also one needs to make sure they verify if the transit visa is required in other countries for which they have layover before reaching first city in Canada. Some passports are not allowed in some specific countries even for transit. Mostly if you have Canada visa stamped then most of them allow.

But about the last point, sorry Victor I disagree :). - In my opinion, we need to mention SK city in CIC forms and in the forms at the port of entry (/border) correctly with a SK city . Immigration officers are aware that we can only first land in big cities but we need to enter the final destination city and address that is of SK in all the forms we write starting from airlines (if they ask) and have the proof of travel (like rental car reservation, another flight ticket, train ticket from landing city to SK) ready for verification if they ask if we are really reaching SK.

Landing procedure is also a big step wherein we get PR status only after they clear us. So i think we should not have any change in information which will trigger additional question. Even after specifying the final destination city in the form as SK city, they will sometimes ask why we are landing here. So we need to answer all the questions and explain where we are going and which mode of travel from that city to reach SK. Show the documents ONLY if they ask or else do not (attempt to) show any document to prove yourself (mostly they will believe but they just wanted to make sure).
