Background declaration form asking for activity from 18th birthday or last 10 years. If I am 30 than which one shall I put ? age 20-30 or 18-30? Thanks in advance...

Either way is fine. They wanted only from 18 if anyone is (for example) 25 but they need only last 10 years. it does not hurt if you give from 18 which goes beyond 10 years.

Folks who are nominated and about to send / already sent your package to CIC, Are you planning to submit additional documents like education proofs, proof of funds, etc. that are not required as per the checklist?

I believe they have specifically said NOT to provide any other documents except what i required in the checklist. Please advise.

The process to apply to CIC seems to easy that you think that you need to provide further evidence to support your
application, but the process is just it is. Do not provide nothing not requested in the checklist.

Focus in follow strictly the guide to avoid silly errors like not signing, or not answering a question in the forms, or
not provide a document that it is must, the photos, etc.

by the way I was speaking with a friend that apply in my visa office, and instead of 17 months of waiting he got his
permanent residence in only 5 months, so probably the response for CIC is better this year.

My application status still shows IN PROCESS.i am really worried about this.god knows when I will get nomination latter.any one tell me how much time it will be take to change the online status.AS I AM NEW IN THIS FORUM. And give me some guid line about SINP.

how many points included ielts are you claiming
do you have enough proof of funds from october till now?

I applied 2jan 2015.my noc 2281.i am claming 64 points.yes I have enough from oct2014 and they ask to submite proof of fund again in mid FEB.Status change 10days ago.

Probably first week of May, they work again in SINP 2015, because in this week everything was very quiet.

I hope you receive your Nomination then, I really think your nomination is around the corner.

hey guys, i'm preparing the documents for PR application sent to CIC. In photo requirements, they ask to include 6 photos for each member of my family whether accompanying or not and myself. I'm the primary applicant and my spouse will accompany me. So does each of us need photos for each member in our own family? For example, photos for each of his family members and mine or only 6 photos for me and 6 photos for him are enough?

Are you talking about your/his parents/siblings as family members? If so then No. its only principal applicant, spouse and children.

Hi, If you can update on your timeline/progress of your application from filed till nomination then it will help others to guess about their applications.

at the very end, there are steps that says

Submit the document checklist.

Sign the form
The application must be signed and dated before it is submitted.

When they say "Sign the form" which form are they referring to?
