Finally we received our passports back and COPRs :D but wont be landing anytime soon until next month i guess cuz my wife just gave birth 2 days ago ;). Pp received in Ottawa on Dec 28 The file is approved on mycic on Jan 9. Pp returned today Jan 13.

My pp also reached Ottawa on Dec 28 and nothing changed in MyCIC yet.

I sent our passports on Dec 23 using express and it's delivered today on Dec 28. I guess the delay is due to holidays.

No I don't think you need a different email for your spouse. In the email you got it's already said "...you will need to submit the passport for you and for each accompanying family member". So what you just need to do is sending both yours and your spouse's passports at the same time, with both...

Reading all of you guys post previously i see that CIC usually send out a batch of PPR emails on Thursday or Friday. Finger crossed for the rest of the week then!!!

Hi, In my case it took me 4 months to get sinp nomination certificate. My application includes my partner too so that's why it took a bit longer than usual.

I think it's best to email SINP and ask them. You may want to prove that you're still working for the same employer of when you applied for SINP.

Hi Megan, Considering you're working for a Construction Company, I think you should be fine. SINP will expect Engineering in general. They won't look into detail about your specific major. The most important thing is you'll never know you will get rejected or not if you don't apply for it :).
