Hi,

There is a mandatory federal form that an applicant has to submit with their SINP application; this form (I think it's generic) has questions regarding your previous immigration applications and refusals. If you answer "yes" to these questions you are supposed to provide explanation.
If you have already applied you should've come across this form!

let me check

Okasmahm sorry it was Schedule A not the generic!!

Schedule A does not have this question as well.

The question about been refused immigrant/PR/visitor/refugee status is a different thing.
Having an APPLICATION rejected for, i.e, IELTS scores, or CAP been full (which was my case) is totally different.
The application for PR only was rejected, not your PR status itself.

Now, for example, if by any given reason your application for PR (via FSW or any other stream) was accepted and, at a later stage, you were refused, then, and only then, should you mention that on that form.

Cases such as misrepresentation, illness, background check or whatever the reason for CIC not accepting your request for a PR status, should be explained at the proper field on that form.

His application didn't pass the completeness check, but by no means that is the same as having a immigrant/PR/visitor/refugee or whatever status denied.

My generic application form (the one requested by SINP) has my UCI number because I was issued one, even though my application was returned to me because of the CAP limit.

UCI numbers are unique, and remain the same for each person through out their lifetime. Even if, for example, I have never applied for immigration, but only visited Canada as a tourist, I'd still have a UCI number because of my tourist visa. When filling out an application for immigration, and, subsequently all the forms, one should mention their UCI number, so that particular immigration file falls under your "main file".

I kind of made a mess at the explanation in this last part, but I guess it can be understood

I would like to believe that explanation not the other, really SINP driving me to be crazy.

Team,
any one here have his application status waiting on applicant, if yes, did you submit all the missing documents that they asked about and your status is still the same Waiting on applicant.

You do not have to mention that your application was rejected, because it was only an application. It was deemed incomplete because you didn't meet the minimum IELTS requirement. But you should have mentioned your UCI number on the generic application form. The rejection letter that came along your returned FSW application has it.

Is your score within SINP's requirements? It's CLB 4 isn't it?

my CLB is 6, but i did not write my UCI number on the generic form. is that a big problem?

Not much, its just that it would make the immigration officer's life easier :-) The field is there, no harm in informing it when you have it. But it's not mandatory. Your name will show up on the system either way.

Do you think that i have to fill in the form again and sent it to SINP?

Hi okasmahan,

in one occasion you posted this

"another question

i sent all documents needed on 29th of January, they uploaded all documents to my application except post secondary transcript, my application status still the same "waiting on applicant" till now. what is your advise?"

You received your AOR ON January 22 , I double checked...

For me is completely strange why if you sent all your documentation, you are still "Waiting on Applicant". it is going to be almost one month now!

Did you ask for an explanation , using email or phone call.
