SINP 2015 WITHOUT JOB OFFER LET'S DREAM HERE !

Hello house,
Thank you all for your comments on those of us with Job category NOC 1111. I would specially like to thank @ spicey for his/her comment and criticism on my last post. Lemme narrate my journey so far since I got the email from SINP requesting 'proof of eligibility for licensure' within 15days.

I sent an email to CPA SASK, but didn't get a response, hence i decided to telephone them and i must confess the lady who received my call has been very helpful. First I explained to her the situation those of us with NOC 1111 find ourselves cos of the sudden change in rules from SINP. she acknowleged that SINP didn't carry them along in their decision making hence the initial confusion that resulted in the NOC not licensed. Now let me stressed here that licensing of NOC 1111 in Saks is based on which type of accountant you are. I'm a chartered accountant so my JOB is licensed in the province.


I explained the special circumstance to her and the lack of time in getting the whole licensing done. She advice I send in my WES degree assessment and also a copy of my University transcripts. The transcript must be sent from my university directly and they won't accept student copy. I guess these 2 documents will get the initial assessment done which is really what SINP requires for nomination. I have sent those document to them.

The initial assessment with CPA SASK takes about 4-6wks but I've been pleading with them if they can fast track the process for me. The struggle still continues.. I will see how much I can the get this sorted out. I will resume negotiation with them next week and hopefully I can get something to present to SINP within the 15days I was given.

Alrite thanks. Btw, did you submit ECA with your SINP application ?

The ECA done by the regulatory body was neither shown nor given to me. It was just internal and part of the process. Though, I did a separate WES ECA last year which I uploaded in my SINP application but this is not important. I thought, initially, it would be needed for PR application after nomination but I found out it is not important for province nominee applicants as well.

Thanks, the "what to do next" instruction is just the general one you will find on SINP website about photo specification, getting police certificate, revalidating your generic application if neccessary etc.

I AM part qualified C.A(INTERMEDIATE) AND M.COM IN MANAGEMENT ALSO HAVE WES ASSESSMENT.NOW I AM WORKING AS CHIEF ACCOUNTANT .

Yes it is regulated. I waited patiently for this year application just because of the licencing. I started my licence appication immediately I discovered I won't meet up with last year. It took about 11 months for the whole process, from Uni Cert,,transcript, C.V submission. The first process was paying application fee and my transcript was evaluated by the body which, took about 5 month. Then, comes skill exam and previous work experience reporting and approval which took 3 month. Then membership payment and certification. It was just God's grace, long and proper planning though. Cheers

Hats off to you for planning everything well ahead of time. Indeed, yours was the most well laid out application with everything they needed, so no document request was there. Giving you the nomination in such short time is there way to appreciate your efforts and the time you put in to get the complicated process of certification done before applying

Dear Friends,

I have an update in my online application.

My past work experience is in NOC 2281 from 2005 to 2010 so I have updated in the application at the time of submission as 2281 in "Intended occupation"
As we can claim only for one NOC I never focused on my present experience as I was not confident. I was claiming only for 2281. Now when I was checking the status my intended occupation is showing as "6221" I guess the reviewing officer might have updated and he is considering my present experience over my past.

I hope what ever is happening is for good. I am thinking should I write a mail to them requesting to change the NOC to 2281 because even If I get nominated CIC may reject which I am not sure. I am just guessing. what are the chances of rejection after SNIP nominates? Please comment.
