Hi. The best people to answer your queries are the immigration people at SK.
However, I'm just gonna go and tell you what I think. :)

The safest way for you to pass the criteria for SINP without considering whether your NOC is under the demand list or not is to secure a job offer. Apply under SINP with JOB OFFER. The employer offering you the job should secure an LMIA though.

Please visit SINP Guidelines for more details.

And yes, SINP rules change from time to time.

I am interested in SINP and my occupation (8253) is coming under trade which is listed in demand list of SINP occupations and for which it is mentioned that to apply under trade I have to get certificate of qualification. Can any one tell me how to get this certificate and whether a foreigners can get it on the basis of foreign credential without physically present in Canada and moreover can I apply for SINP before it is issued to me.

Hi all, I am in the EE pool hoping to get invitation in CEC, but I might need to switch my interested into SINP. (Highly unpredictable system Express entry is)

How hard is it to get SINP Job approval letter? I mean do I still need to fulfill median wage of my NOC and job advertisement like in LMIA?

For the 100 points grid in SINP, the last 30 points is for Job Approval letter. Does this also applies to SINP-EE stream?

Background:
Working in Sask for 1 year 2 months under PGWP, Non-Sask BEng Graduate. NOC 2253

Thanks

I've submitted mine on Dec 31 20014, application was returned Jan 28 due to immigration consultant cover letter was not clear enough. I've resubmitted on Jan 30, receive file# on March 03. Received additional documentation request in mid March, submitted on March 23 and in process since then. We've applied under existing work permit category and waiting for any updates. They say on their website that processing time is roughly 1.5 months, so hoping to receive nomination not before end of April.
Any similar cases or timelines to share? :)
Good luck everyone
