Did you mean you got the nomination?

If yes, you'd better do them at the same time so that you can come earlier with the work permit VISA if you want to.

My co-worker did the same. You can apply for immigration before you come, doing this will save you time on waiting.

Hi there,how can i check my sinp application (family referral) thru online. Does anyone knows? I had a paper application since january 2012 but no updates yet up to now. Im just wondering if we could check that online by just using my file number.It says in my acknowledgment of receipt (AOR) that no follow ups would be entertain until no further advice, Could anyone help me?

my passport will expire on Nov 2015.. i will apply SINP under hospitality program on january 2014. the website says they need passport valid 2 years or more. do you think they will refuse my applicatioN? coz its hard to renew philippine passport here in Canada. i could do that maybe early 2014. thanks.

I was nominated on February 5, 2013 through SINP.

And I landed on November 23, 2013 at North Portal Office, SK.

congrats westzu,i ave also applied in oct2012,and got my jo in 12 march 2013 and my employer applied for jo approval on 21june 2013,but till nothing i got from sinp can you please tell me how long it could take.

Hey westzhu how are you? I didn't realized that we share the very same date of sinp approval haha yes I receive my sinp nomination certificate on feb 05, 2013 as well. But I applied to sinp on sep 14, 2013. I was faster on sinp part, but ur faster then me on the federal part haha cuz I didn't send my application to CIO until April 11, 2013 because I had to wait for my new work permit..
Anyway base on ur timeline, I should be able to receive my ppr around dec20, 2013 if December was not a holiday month, therefore I should expect to actually hear something hopefully in early January 2014 haha

I was lucky that the SINP job approval form of my position has been given to my employer n February 2012 before I applied. And I used it to apply for my sinp nomination in late July/ early August 2012.

My employer/HR told me it took about 6 to 8 weeks to get the SINP Job approval form. This was back in early 2012. For now, I don't know.

In my opinion, the designated trades/skilled positions take less time to get the SINP Job Approval form. The others will take longer. My friend who works at a food court restaurant and has been given the title of store manager still hasn't receive the form till now even though she asked her employer to get the form back in June/July 2013.

Apparently I guess SINP is being overloaded and trying to limit Job Approval Forms released to general positions and give priorities to designated trades/skilled positions, which really makes sense from the point of view of SINP. The SK government's goal is to keep the economic growth healthy, steady and sustainable.

I am doing very well. Good to hear that you are getting close to the end of this long waiting game.

Actully my sinp part should only take three months instead of six. I used the SINP online application system in late July/early August 2012. At that time the system was poorly designed and lots of bugs, and it took SINP THREE MONTHS to RECEIVE my online application if I had use paper application it would have taken them about a week or two to receive it.

Anyway, I got my nomination at exactly six months time frame as they stated to me at the beginning of my sinp application, can't complain.

Hello All,

Nearly after one year I received the additional document request from SINP last night. The documents requested are as follows:

Code of Conduct
Birth Document
Updated Job Offer Letter
IMM 5562 Supplementary Information: Your Travels

I should be able to provide all the documents but have an issue with the Birth Document. I am 1979 born in India and do not have a birth certificate. Can anyone in this forum help me with any other document / affidavit that would suffice this request. Just to let you know that my passport and my 10th Std. Certificate has my date of birth which I provided to SINP with my case filing but did not provide those as proof of birth but as identity and educational documents respectively.
