SINP 2012 APPLICANTS

Hello David 001, i applied by paper so i can't check my status online. However, because i'm doing this thru a consultant, i was told that SINP have received the requested docs on January this year. Since then i'm still waiting. Just a quick reminder for the people reading this: i've applied in November 2011 under Skilled Worker Category.

i have also applied through consultant and submitted the additional documents on marh 10, 2013, and my consultant told me that SINP received the documents but SINP did not acknowledge me or my consultant. tension increased more.....

This happened to us too. The only reason we know they were received is because they were signed for. However, consultant says this is perfectly normal. Hopefully we will hear something soon.

Did your employer received a phone call from SINP asking you?

Hi David,

Not recently as far as I know but employer has been in touch with Regina office on several occassions and they are aware of our case. Also they spoke to employer when they verified the company and validity of the job offer several months ago.

We are hopeful of hearing something soon.

Ang: Is the employer still contacted by phone from SINP. I heard that since they have changed the process of pre-job approval before applying for SINP, they are no longer calling employers to take feedback about the offer or the job. Isnt this the case? Let me know please.

Sorry, honestly not sure if this is the case at present. All I can say for sure is that SINP has spoken to my husbands employer both previous to the employers eligibility to employ someone from overseas and then another twice after that. One of these occassions was, as far as I am aware, to verify validity of the offer and the second was the employer contacting them for an update. On all occassions SINP were helpful and courteous. We were asked for updatedproof of funds about four weeks ago which we supplied promptly and are now hopeful of hearing soon.

I know the waiting is extremely frustrating, you feel like your whole life is on hold for something you have no control over, which believe me for someone like me who is a complete control freak, is excrustiating. Lol.

Everyday we think.....I wonder...., oh well maybe tomorrow

Ang - Thanks for the update. Good luck to you guys. Pray for me as well. I am a Sept 2012 applicant and have not heard back from SINP yet. Praying and hoping for a good update soon.

Dear fellows
me and my some other friends all were nominated in family stream in sinp
and it took completey 24 -25 months.
now i am wating for AOR from Sydney NS.

Dear Friends,

Does a TA (Teacher assistant job with valid study permit and on campus) experience of more than 6 month qualify me?
I want to know if I can use my TA experience instead of providing a bank statement ($10,000 or $12,000).

Another question is that, is it gonna become problematic if after submitting the application (in Canada) I come back home,
and do all of the other process from my home country?

I have this same question, I already got my masters and TA ed when I was a student will that qualify me for SINP PhD/Masters category ?

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program has implemented application intake thresholds to improve program efficiency.

Effective immediately the SINP will accept a maximum number of applications in each category for the remainder of the calendar year but will continue to process all applications currently in inventory.

APPLICATION INTAKE THRESHOLDS AS OF MAY 21, 2013

Skilled Workers 3,100
Existing Work Permits & Health Professionals 450
Family Referral 250
Entrepreneur & Farm Owner 250
Long Haul Truck Driver & Hospitality Sector Pilot Projects 200
Students 175


These levels are in effect until December 31, 2013. They will be reviewed on an annual basis.

The category application quota will be posted online and updated with remaining availability on a weekly basis. When the category reaches the intake threshold the website will be updated immediately and no further applications will be accepted.

..
Could anyone please mention what are the ways (email or phone number) I may make a communication with authority to ask about ... ??
Any tips ??
Its been almost 14 months :
No doc request even ....

Or should I remain silent till something happen! :-X
