it is better not to ask them if they received your package. Its better to track your Courier's tracking system.
every inquiry about your case is reflected on your file and is seen by the VO.

Hi,

Thanks for your information.

Why is it, that cannot enquiry on whether documents had been received - as in your case AOR was received after two weeks.

Thanks.

Hi, Tran. How's everything in Calgary? Have you gotten any job offer so far? Please update us. Thanks.

As in the future you still need to send additional docs based on their requirement, it's better send yours by Express ways, mean Fedex or Singpost Speed Post, so that you can track later whether the docs have reached there or not.
this kind of delivery won't cost much.

Hi,

How are things with your side, after immigrating.

I had forward my documents to CHC, Singapore on the 29th Oct 2010 via normal mail, and had yet to receive the AOR (2nd) from CHC, Singapore.
I send an enquiry via email to CHC, Singapore and was informed that a reply would be send in 100 days. Would appreciate if give any ideas to why 100 days, cause from the discussion on this site - 14 days is the norm.

Thanks.

Hi,

Received AOR from CHC - Singapore with regards to documents submitted.

Thanks, and just hope for the best.

Remember, there are some brain cracked officers in CHC Singapore.

I sent my medical test reports to SVO on 15th September 2010, not get PPR yet whether my e-cas showing In process since 5th August 2010.

mail them, they must have asked you for some additional docs.

Hi all,

I stumbled upon this link while doing a search on this website. I read all 31 pages of this link(Yup, you got me right) and I felt compelled to write in this post.

First of all, many thanks tran, abelkwh and mediajunkie for your extensive postings over the past year. I really enjoyed reading what you wrote and many thanks for being so generous in sharing so many tips that are especially useful to new immigrants to Canada. You have highlighted and captured the expected realities of new immigrants to Canada very well.

Like some of you here, I am a Singaporean with permanent residency status in Canada. I will be moving to Canada mid this year (when its warmer) to take up permanent residence. Looking at the possibility of settling in Montreal as I love french and I am happy to learn the language. :-))

If it doesnt work out in Montreal, I will consider Toronto, Calgary or even Regina :)
