dear greenfern, have u received the letter?Do u think the letter is actually about medical request? I am very tensed since they sent me a letter also which I haven't received yet. :-(

SGVO sent me a letter on the 17th April 2012 and I am yet to receive my letter from them. I sent email to SGVO and I did not get any reply. I tried to talk to call centre Canada and they said to contact SGVO.

Very frustrating situation indeed.

Hello Daba_Avik,

When I log in with my particulars, it shows IN PROCESS. When I click on the in process, it appears like this:

We received your application for permanent residence on XX.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on XX to XXX. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. If we have sent the letter to the wrong address, please contact us.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on XX.

This is PER, I see. Wait to receive the letter. You're okay. Stay cool. 8)

Thanks Deba_avik for your reply.
However, what does it mean by PER?

VO knows .........God knows.......................we can predict only. :D :D :D

Hopefully the people with IP date but without getting any 6-12 months waiting letter will get MR first.

which means there are people in IP with date who had received 6-12 months waiting letter from SG office? If anyone, please clarify that you received such letter after shooting specific case request to Singapore or they sent you the letter by their own?
:)

These type of letters are being sent by visa office by their own, not upon queries, so far.

Any member experienced a background check by SGVO, please share ?

Interesting indeed. This is the first time I hear about IP date change.
