I applied for my husband. here is my timeline:

Application Filed: 04/03/2014
AOR received: 29/03/2014
Sponsorship approved: 01/04/2014
File transferred: 07/04/2014

They also received medical.

After that there is no news. ECAS shows application received. That's it.

btw does anyone know how long it takes time to show "in process" in ECAS?

oh man i applied on dec 2013 they send us letter for interview they said approximatly 24 months...... ami morey jabo lol

So far i know they arrange interview nov-feb yearly. Just pray n ask help to Allah. long waiting messed up my life. So try to make a good relation with ur spouse. if u loose ur pations then u will.......

You send case specific email request to SVO to put you in next interview to be held in Dhaka or tell them you are ready to go to Singapore to face interview if they can arrange it early.

I applied in June 2013 and I emailed a month ago. The Singapore office replied me stating that my wife's file was pending final review. I am not sure what "pending final review" means. Does she have to face an interview? It has been about 11 months and still showing "application received".

I think SVO will send you PPR soon as their target is to complete the process in 1 year if you gave them fully documented and compeleted applications and your medical date is approching almost a year.

Singapore Visa office wants original notorized Marriage certificate i.e Nikah Nama. You can not send it by email. You have to send it by mail. I think your husband in Dhaka should contact VFS for sending it securely at cheaper rate.

Hi I applied for TRV recently pending spousal sponsorship application and tracking VFS Canada Application Centre today shows status as below:
Your Decision has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office, Singapore to the Canada Visa Application Centre DHAKA
My question is what does it mean? Is it kind of negative decision? I think package will arrive from Singapore VO next week. Any idea?

It means they have already returned you passport with visa. VFS will call you soon.

Bad news! I picked up passport today from VSF, Dhaka and my TRV application was denied even though I have submitted enough documents to prove that I would come back. Previously I travelled Canada with both TRV and PR over dozen times. I have valid USA, UK & other multiple visa in my passport. I applied to attend graduation ceremonies(University & High School) for two children who are Canadian citizens. With my valid multiple entry visas, I will be able to visit all over the World except Canada where my Canadian wife and children are permanently living! This is the reality!
