When the file gets transferred to Singapore a letter is sent to the sponsor via e-mail stating that. Also another e-mail is sent to the sponsored person from the Singapore office stating that they have received the file from Mississauga office and the applicant should only contact them if any changes have occurred in the application. After that it is a waiting game. In my case that's what happened. Soon after the e-mail I observed the added status in ecase that they have received the medical report. After that nothing yet and it has been 2 months.

If you are having a kid or already have a kid and one of the parents is a Canadian citizen then apply for the childs canadian citizenship. which takes about 8 months to a year. If the Visa officer suspects anything wrong and abnormal only then they might ask you for DNA test. I don't think DNA testing is that common. Submit enough proof of relationship like pics from all the different occassions of wedding, honeymoon, anniversary celebration, birthday celebration etc. it is also very important that you show that the parents from both sides have attended the wedding.

After CSQ, the file is now ready to be processed in Singapore. Refer to this spreadsheet to see how it is taking others so you will have a general idea: docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AnZilfOAxK_YdHF4QkxOMG5DLU5ja2FQSnMxRmVsSUE#gid=7

put "http : // " infront of the link to access the google document

Sorry to hear that you got an interveiw. The following is the posting of benstu who faced an interview:

"Sorry to hear that. I was in the same boat as you are right now. We were only flagged because my wife was denied student visa once.

My advice. Go to sleep. They will not respond to any communication from you henceforth until they decide to interview you. We waited 16 months before they interviewed us.
In the mean time, gather as much documents as you can. Money transfers, chat logs, vacation photos, etc. If you take enough documents, the interview is pretty straightforward. And they will ofcourse ask about the student visa refusal."

Also for your information, the interview is held in Dhaka at any time between Dec- Feb. So if you get interview in next Dec - Feb it will not be too long.

By the way Maria, did you get email or postal mail ? Also the date of issue of your letter.

I applied Dec 01, 2013. I am also worried that wheather I get an interview or not ?

Anyone sent their PP through VFS center in Dhaka/Sylhet? Since last 2 days whenever I try to check with the tracking ID its gives a certificate error on that page.

Anyone else facing this issue?

Thanks.
