Hello there,

Just wanted to check... do I have to have my wife's Malaysian IC and birth cert translated to English and have that certified by a Notary public? If so, does anyone knows any good location to have a Malaysian IC and Birth Cert translated to English for the Spousal sponsorship. Thanks so much!

I'll post the name of the translator i used tommorow, details are in my work email. They use translator recognized by ministry of foreign affairs msia and i just had to email them my kid's birth cert and they mailed back the translation, you can then get the msian embassy or consulate in spore to endorse or pay translator more to get it done at Msian MFA office at putrajaya..the translation alone cost me rm120 per page..not inclusive of endorsement...i did that myself. If you google online you may get better rates i suppose, just make sure they are authorized translator recognized by MFA.
