I got my PP but i was not given a visa due to incomplete medical of my spouse. She was not able to take X-ray as she is pregnant. We need to wait until her delivery confinement is done.

Congrats CRS.

Which Province nominated you? And from which country are you.

@ JAGGU
You would better apply to India VO. It is quicker and also help Singapore VO to release workload and speed up other people cases in this forum!

Dear polar,

It's not question for me to select the vo, as u have not seen my post properly. I am asking your views where cic will drop my file... Either sing or Nd.... N e way thanks for ur suggestion but its not in my hand...

Hi Guys,

I'm planning to complete the landing process in Dec at the Vancouver Airport. I'm wondering if you guys can share some experiences regarding the followings:

- Is there any minimum requirement of how much money I should bring while landing? The reason I'm asking this question is because I still want to put my money in my country's bank since the interest rate is much better than in Canadian's bank so I won't bring much to Canada.
- Any other advises?

THanks and good luck to you all, be prepared to wait for medical request for 16-17 months because Singapore is very slow but you will finally get there.

that's sad...i still have 6-7 more months to go then! hope they still keep to 18months processing time!!

10000 cad should be ur fund as a pnp nominee at the port of entry. If u have a job offer then its not that much necessary. Still u need to show a decent amount.

I think it may decrease in coming year as they are clearing fsw category at a good pace. Never know, U may recieve mr before ur expected timeline. Keep tight.

Hi Canada 08xxxxx....

Good to see that u e finally reached to finish line. Can u share which country u r from, and why cic chose Singapore as VO office. I m from India and currently working in Malaysia. As Malaysia doesn't have any VO and nearest us Singapore so is that my file will be processed in Singapore or India. I want to write them for not allocating Singapore as many people already waiting since more than 10 months. I m in FSW backlog pilot program...

Dear Jaggu, applicants can not decide or change his/her vo. Untill Dec'11, one could apply to either one's country of origin or country of residence after nomination. Now u apply to cic-nova scotia and only they decide ur vo. Don't worry too much.

Hi Jaggu,
I am also FSW Backlog applicant and working in Malaysia, I am yet to send my application to nova scotia, I believe they will give us singapore. In between how did you paid fees.
Could you please guide me how to get DD in CAD from Malaysia.

Hi Singh ,

Better to give credit card detail .... That will b fast n traceable...

How u say that they will give Singapore vo? Suppose we have plans to go back in India then how??.. I believe they give us India one... I hope else we r stuck for another 16 months... Ohh boy... When this sing will expedite their systems....
