Hi Garu,

We are still waiting too.

Oh ok, yours is almost a year now...

Btw... vansask, what is your E-CAS status now?

It hasn't changed. Still showing " We started processing your application on .....".

Ok that means they have started processing yours, mine is still on "Application Received" status.

Hi everyone, I just checked e-cas and status has changed to "In Process". They started processing 4 May 2011.

Thanks n1x_r for the update... hope to see mine with the same status soon.

Hi everyone!

Status update: Just got the request for medicals and police certificates as well as for payment of Right to Permanent Residence fee!

That's great n1x_r! It was only less than a month since your e-cas changed to "in-process".

Btw... why police certificate is requested... Haven't you submitted PC previously?

Good luck to the new stage! Keep us posted.

Hi Garu, no i have not submitted previously. They advised me to wait for them to request together with MR. Hope everyone's applications get moving as well!

Hi n1x_r, are you working in singapore? I know that singapore stopped issue police cert so maybe that's why they advise u to wait. Btw, ur case is really fast, can u share a bit about ur profile? Thanks and comgratzzzz!

Congrats n1x_r!

I wonder why our application is taking too long. The response to our enquiry was " Given our caseload queue for initial screening takes 12 months".

Is it possible that they give faster processing to people working in Singapore?

Hi letina, Vansask,

Yes, I am actually working in Singapore. As Singapore Police Force no longer issue Police Certificates to foreigners (I'm from Manila, Philippines), my alternative is to make a Statutory Declaration at a qualified legal practitioner or from the Commissioner of Oaths. I am still looking into this to make sure I get everything correctly. On top of this, I still need to obtain a police cert from my home country. Getting all these certificates is quite troublesome but I hope to be able to do it as soon as possible.

Best of luck to your applications! I'm sure they will be moving soon as well.
