I work in Singapore now. I agree with you. Other than the offer, I can't think of any reason why I got MR now. I am still struggling now, since I can't get entry-visa, so I can't go to Canada to start my new job. :-( In the offer letter, it is stated that I have the responsibility to ensure I have valid status to work in Canada. :-(

I heard from a reliable source that SVO trying to expediting their processing and as part of that they are asking for medical. But it does not mean that the process will start immediately. Still there are lots of cases from 2012 and 2013 to be finalized and all will be done in an order. But, people applied in 2013 and 2014 will get faster processing than the applicants of 2012.

Thanks for the info but as far as my case is concerned i am still waiting for the MR whereas Neeloy and tiyaun and others of this forum who applied in 2014 already got MR. Can you tell where i can send email to inquire about my case in SGVO??

medicals are only valid for 1 year so it's likely everyone that received medicals will get their PR by Oct 2015.
