In other thread where people are getting PR within 6 months but here it is very frustrating to see that people are waiting more than 2 years to get PR. I am now so much frustrated after coming to this thread as my VO is also Singapore. Oh GOD i have to wait 2 years or more!!!!!!...........OH NOOOOOOOOO

Already waited one year to get MPNP and again now another 3 years waiting would be painstaking.

I am the same like you. My AOR (at Singapore office) is September 22, 2014. I just got a permanent job offer and plan to move back next January. I could extend my work permit for 1 more year (the bridge open work permit) but not another 3 years' waiting. Hopefully I could get my case transferred back to Canada, although they usually don't accept it. :-(

I have sent bank draft, police certificates and completed medical here in Dhaka.

My eldest son just has received his Canadian police certificate today and his medical date is on 19th Sept (Tomorrow). Once all the documents in file then they will complete the full review. I guess, I have to wait until October 15 to receive next update.

Lets see what next.

Akhnoor

What do you mean by you have sent the documents here in dhaka? Did u sent them to the Canadian Embassy in Dhaka?

SGVO Requires Below Document:
 Original good conduct certificate (or certificate of no criminal record) to be obtained from the
Bangladesh police authorities. A certificate is required for each family member, 18 years of age
or older, from the police authorities in all countries in which you have resided for at least six
months. There may be more than one type of police certificate available in each country. To find
out which one you need and how to apply for it, visit the CIC Web site:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/index.asp. If you do not provide the
correct type of police certificate, there will be delays in processing your application
 Proof of relationship to your relative in Canada and that your relative is currently residing
in Canada (statutory declaration alone is insufficient).
 Proof that your relative is currently physically residing in Canada (eg. Current bank account
statements, tax returns) Passport, citizenship or permanent residence cards are not evidence of
residency in Canada
 Provide completed Geneological Chart to demonstrate how you are related to sponsoring relative.
 Detailed employment reference letters from your current and previous employers. These letters
should include a detailed job description and must clearly indicate the full name, title, business
address and contact numbers of the person signing.
 Current bank statements and other evidence of funds and personal assets.
 Documentation of who is offering a job and description of duties.
 Education Diplomas and transcripts of marks.

 IMM 5669 Schedule A Background / Declaration form, completed with up-to-date
information by you, your spouse/common-law partner, and each of your dependent
children who is 18 years of age or older. Fill the form on the CIC Web site then print it:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5669E.pdf
You must provide complete details of your personal history and addresses since the age
of 18. Do not leave any gaps. Failure to account for all time periods will delay the
processing of your application.
 Pay the Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) for you (and your spouse/commonlaw
partner, if applicable). The instructions are attached

Nusrat,

These requirements are very sensitive for a case. Before sending your documents, please review carefully. especially the evidence of relationships.

Thanks,

Akhnoor

Is CIC asking for the same documents from everyone? I already submitted all that with my MPNP application.

I guess, CIC would like to make sure that your relative is still in this provice, because you are eligible to get PR through PNP if your relative is working and living in the specif province of your destination.

Sorry RPRF.

i submitted RPRF way before they asked for it, they accepted it over at the counter. think that might help in the processing.
