CIC is working! I got MR letter via postal mail today. Also to submit Police Certificate, Rprf, 4 copies of Passport size pic and Complete background application form.

oh my god..I just received email from VO to ask me do the MR along with submitting some additional documents like fffaaarin11. My heart is stopping beating right now for a few seconds ....oh my god..i cant believe it...I never expected to hear from them that soon.

By the way, does anyone know how to pay the fee for them ? Do I need to buy a bankdrafts in $S ?

wow so nice and fast for you lucct_di. Buy the bankdraft the same way as you did to pay your application processing fees when you submitted your application some 18/19 months ago.

According to their request, I need to buy bankdraft from a bank in Singapore

Singapore dollar payments must be made in the form of a CASHIER'S ORDER or BANKDRAFT, drawn on a bank in Singapore and made payable to the HIGH COMMISSION OF CANADA

However, I'm living in Vietnam so I'm confusing about that matter because I just bought a bankdraft in my country when I submitted my applications to them in 2011.

Do I have to fly to Singapore and buy a bankdraft from one of banks over there or is it still okay for me to buy a bankdraft in my country ?

They gave me a bank name in my country from where i should get the bank draft. How did the other send the payment?
from cic singapore website:
If you are paying in Canadian dollars, the bank draft should be addressed to the: Receiver General for Canada.
If you are paying in Singapore dollars, the bank draft should be made payable to the: High Commission of Canada.

For payment, you should come to HSBC HCMC Branch ( I bought bank draft already) Q1. The payee is High commission Canada + currency is Singapore dollar.( You check SGVO's instruction ). Try to get police certificate first because you will be spent much time ( 21 working days) in our country ( VN).

ACB bank also issue bank draft, takes 15', print out Payment request showing them.
