That is a rediculous interview wait time.... If they request an interview for us it could be the end of us.... @ fucking years! ? ! ? But I don't think they will because we had so much proof and so many pics that it had to go in a small box rather than an envelope.

Also, kitty, where is this Thai forum you speak of.? I would love to join it and have access to the information on it.

It was canada postal strike few days before. Now there is strike in my country and seems like it's gonna be for indefinite time. So how can I get my passport back ? After all these waiting , why I have to just keep waiting..this is insane.

What country are you in?

You are very welcome :)

I think maybe singapore has already sent us the mails but, becoz of the Canada post still have tons of backlog mails ( according to the news)
They will send all backlog mails by the end of next week, I still have hope :D :D

My Thai friends from the website that I told you aleady got the letters
The first girl who was processed same time as you got it on June 13
The second girl who was processed on June 6 or 7 I'm not sure got the letter last week.

They put thier address in Thailand so, they had no problem with Canada post.

cheers :D :D

well then what is going on with us... we changed our address to thailand like 3 months ago, so theyt should send it to thailand, unless they didnt even check the email yet.....

i m so upset :(.....Singapore received my application on 15th November 2010. My e-cas status was changed to "medical received...." then it changed to "application received ". And that's it......No changes till now. But some of you guys who filed their applications on the same date as me have already been asked for passport. I don't understand what is wrong with my application. It does not even show "in process". Please if anybody can help....!!

Our file was transfered to Singapore at the beginning of November 2010 for my Bangladeshi spouse and similarly the status has still not been changed to "in process" yet. I am starting to wonder if they process the files on a country-by-country basis, as applicants from Thailand and Singapore are in process - but it seems applications from Bangladesh are sitting on the desk collecting dusk.

i think you should not worry too much about his file number. you can log in to e-cas with your client id. it's same thing. this is almost over. may be one or two more month maximum. just pray that no one get interview from this forum.

i hope you are right lol.. but am a bit worried like Maplebear if there is such a thing as sorting files according to the countries..

Your right hello kitty. I never noticed but they still have our mailing address as being Canada. So maybe they did send it to Canada.... That's weird, I swear we changed our mailing address to our home address in Thailand like 4 months ago. Maybe they didn't get it? Hmmmmmm.

Well I'll just leave it for now and see what happens.

no my friend, it depends on your documents. Some documents take less time to evaluate.

But doesn't the evaluation start after the file is "in progress"?

It just seems Singapore doesn't do a good job of updating the online status accurately. Another guy got his letter of approval a couple weeks before the online status even changed to "Decision made."
