I sincerely hope everyone will get their PR really soon, thanks for the support and the information, this forum helps so much.

Did u get ur passport ?

PA is from Indonesia. It took long time to get AOR1 and long time after medical. I dont know why. I think just waiting in line plus waiting second officer review. When i reviewed the notes I discovered the last update was late January with nothing negative
Thanks again for sharing. Is it common to have a second officer's review or in few cases they do it? Was GCMS note helpful in your case?

My understanding from the notes is that there are 2 officers assigned. One at VO and one in Canada who had already started sponsor eligibility. I found the notes helpful because it gave me an insight into the status of my application- i.e. whats been completed, whats ongoing, any notes and remarks by officer, when the last update on application.Missed correspondance, if any.

While the possibility of rejection is probably high indeed, my wife (Thai national, with some travel history to Schengen and Asian countries) were actually approved for a multi-entry TRV this year, while our application is being (painfully slowly) processed at Singapore VO. She doesn't have a job.

Just saying that everything's possible.

P.S. I wish Singapore VO was a bit more transparent, tho.
So did your wife travel to Canada already? I am just curious how it will turn out when she is visiting you here and gets called for Medical and PPR. Can she do those from Canada or does she have to return home for those?

Yes, she is with me in Canada right now. Medical -- from what I understand, yes, you can do it anywhere. For PPR it should be done either from home (we're going back anyway) or from here if she can stay here for up to 3 months post PPR.

I was submitted my passport on 9th June at VFS Bangladesh. I thing it will return within 20-25 days
from the trend i note from previous applicants in this forum, 2 to 3weeks and they say on their letter to please wait for 1 month before contacting them after sending the passports.

Normally when the spouse(applicant) interview occurs in Bangladesh??
I mean is there any particular month or just random? Is it like someone from Singapore VO moves to Bangladesh to take interview? Or who conducts the interview session in Bangladesh?
Any idea?

Hi
Agents from Singapore come to Bangladesh to take the interview. Usually, it has been seen that they visit 2/3 times a year depending on how many interviews are pending. (Sept and Between Jan-Mar). We had ours on Feb.
