Yeah the more I see from all of you, the scared it makes me. Have you pursued or thought of applying for a TRV for your spouse meanwhile? Heard anyone who has had success?
Have you tried applying for TRV for your spouse?Today I called Immig-Call-Center for an update. But as always their answer is we can not access the database of regional VO and I lost 40mins from my life to make that call.
Now my question is WHY THE HELL THEY CREATED THIS SO CALLED HELP DESK SERVICE IF THEY CAN'T EVEN ACCESS THE DATABASE??? IS THAT ROCKET-SCIENCE???
- Online status showing 16 days left... /medical done/no additional doc required/ no interview required/...
- Email reply from SGVO - application queued for an interview... (totally opposite of online status)
- Applied for GCMS notes... waiting...

I am quite scared tbh just because of lengthy timeline. It is quite hard to stay away and definitely not easy to travel back and forth as you can assume.
I have an immigration lawyer friend who said 99% chance of TRV approval is, NO. My spouse does not work back home and so far I asked around from other people, it will most likely be denied. Also, even if it successful, will be a pain in the butt to move without any certainty. Wont be able to start life here (i.e. getting health card, admission for any education etc.). That's why I skipped that plan at least for time being.
I wanted to apply TRV but will be "No" since my wife does not have a job atm. I hope you wont be required interview
yup, when they requested RPRF , I thought they would PRR after or passed ELIGIBILITY
Yeah, my that lawyer friend said when someone is applying for a TRV, he/she will have to convince the visa officer that the intend is just to visit and comeback to home country. Once the spouse does not have any job and significant other (we, sponsor) is living in Canada, it will logically be a NO. Obviously there will be some exceptions along with super good luck. But I am not interested since it will be still uncertain.
While the possibility of rejection is probably high indeed, my wife (Thai national, with some travel history to Schengen and Asian countries) were actually approved for a multi-entry TRV this year, while our application is being (painfully slowly) processed at Singapore VO. She doesn't have a job.
Just saying that everything's possible.
P.S. I wish Singapore VO was a bit more transparent, tho.
OMG! Seriously! This was the best news for this week. If I get interview request or gets too delayed, will think about it! And don't say anything more about the painful uncertain time, feeling so bad every day specially without knowing anything. Thanks so much for sharing your experience.

I know it is a very common question and also sure many of you already experienced this or heard it before.
In my situation, when I already have SA and received AOR 2, will that be a problem if I visit my spouse back home for 3 weeks? I am not a Canadian Citizen yet, so I know the rule is if Sponsor is a PR, he/she has to be in Canada while application is going on. Can anyone share his/her opinion and/or experience? Would be very helpful.
