I think we should have spreadsheet for Singapore time-line, then we can figure out when to expect PPR. I wish someone have enough time to do this and we can give our information one more time to add in the spreadsheet. i have time, but i dont know how to do it.......

Hi hello-kitty we are also experiencing the same as ecas does not show anymore that they have received medical results although few weeks ago - it showed that- medical results have been received.

Did you get any reply from Singapore upon your query? Any idea what is happening? It is getting frustratingly long now!

Thanks

My med results on my e-cas appear on and off . This is the second time that it was removed.
You do not need to be worried becoz my Thai friends in the other forum also have the same display on e-cas( missing med results)
All of my Thai friends and some friends in this forum have had med results showed since Janaury 2011 but nothing progress with our PPR.

We just stick together,if someone get the PR all of us will get PR in a similar time.

You can also check in this link below. There are a lot of people have lost their med results.

Cheers :)

P.S. i didn't get any reply from Singapore that I asked them about my med results disappeared

Hi. Sry lemon link, I'm not sure what you mean. My wife is from Cambodia. I just put her home address in the application. I sent the application into CSC Misissauga, which they recieved on Feb 1st and got a 'decision made' letter saying it was good. :) Then checked on the internet and on March 10th it says they recieved the permanent resident application, which I dont really understand but sounds good too.lol.

Hi all!
I am a Canadian citizen sponsoring my spouse in Vietnam.
Timeline info:
1. Feb 2010 mailed app to Mississauga.
2. Recieved app March 1, 2010
3.Started processing March 24, 2010
4.Decision made (approval) sent to SG March 24, 2010.
5. Started processing April 8 , 2010
6. Letter with my submitted evidence requesting interview May 8th, 2010 (exact date not confirmed)
7. About 1 month later i got same letter requesting interview by itself.

Now i have been waiting ever since. No change on e-cas, only says "started processing......" Even had time to visit my wife in Sept-Oct 2010 (which was a bad idea money wise.) I see people here with much faster timelines then me and starting to feel left out. Some of you are even asking whats the hold up with apps submitted in 2011? I had all my papers in order and paid all fees before hand, but really feels like my app has been put on the back burner. Any ideas or thoughts? I know I cant Ask any questions because SG has 18 month wait time, but seeing all these people getting good news has me worried! thanks for any help!

That is a staggeringly large number to me, what on earth could they possibly be doing with or to an application that it would take 18 months to process. They either believe your info or they don't, call you in, interview give you an answer then let you move to Canada or start the appeal process. Seriously what possible reason that makes any sense can be given for an 18 month time line?

I can live with a time line like that simply because I already live abroad with my family so whatever the wait is, who cares from our perspective. I mean of course it will be taxing mentally but at least we are together. But what about those that are not? It seems almost inhuman to make people wait so long

As you no doubt know, there are processing times out there that are longer than 18 months.
We should consider that there are applicants that have been in the queue for 24+ months, it doesn't justify why, but it certainly shows SG is not the worst.

Never said implied or hinted at SG being the worst, simply asking the question which you did not address which is what on earth can possibly take 18 months or longer to process an application in a place like SG. As you clearly can not have an answer the question is more rhetorical, but it does beg an answer by someone that might actually know the process and what could take this long although I doubt such a person reads or cares about these forums.

The Bangkok office which is a sub office of the SG office can do a visitors visa in a couple of days and they too required medical checks, police checks, marriage and birth certificates, as well as tons of proof that we planned to come back so the opposite of the proof required for RP which again begs the question why can they do that in a week sometimes less and include an interview but somehow 18+ months is ok in SG?? It must be ok or the powers that be that are in charge of such places would make sure it was not this way...

Again I realize YOU have no clue what happens in the process first hand as a worker but I am curious... hence my comment.

More clear that time??

I have done so... a couple of times.

As well as contact both the BKK and SG offices.

It is a crime how this system operates.

I assume that you received standard replies, or a reply from a staffer?
