For medical you need to wait, police cert you can get it done because they will ask it anyway. Medical they will send you a msg through your gckey & you need to print that paper & take to your panel physician & they will submit your result online

Just a quick question, when the background check starts? Before medical or after some1 passes medical? How long it takes to start background check after passing medical?

Hi everyone,I would like to update my application after I got request my passport on 14 August ,then submitted via VSF bangkok on 23 August and I got passport with PR visa on 20 september,it's great that all process is not too long!!

So My wife passed her medical today & this is what her gckey looks like. Any1 knows what could be the next step?

my wife (bangladesh) passed her medical on july 15.
july 20 got letter she on their interview wait list
we are still waiting for an date.

My case is different, my wife got interview letter in July(before medical) & last week she was told to give medical. Also in your gckey does it say that you require an interview or says “you do not need an interview”

Hey my wife's GCKEY says
"You do not an interview. "
Singapore visa office also returned the 20 pictures we have given as proof of our relationship

Don't think gckey updates frequently .

i believe after medical it's yours background check

How long did you have to wait for the email saying they opened your application package and began processing it?

I sent it in nearly a month ago by courier express and the tracker says it was delivered.

Hi Guys,

I'm new to this forum.
Currently back-reading the thread to gather information but would greatly appreciate any advise from you all.

My wife is currently in Canada and she has applied for PR under Live-in Caregiver program wherein I am under spousal sponsorship.
She had already submitted documents necessary for our application since last year and now it's my turn to accomplish several documents.

I've already done my medical examination and the medical report has already been submitted/received by CIC.
Last August 31, I've sent(via mail) "background check documents" such as SG police clearance, IMM5406E, IMM5490E and a few documents to support/prove that we are married to High Commission of Canada here in Singapore.

I just want to ask(to those who have undergo same process) how long does High Commission of Canada-Singapore takes to review documents.
If in case everything goes well, what would be the next step?
