IMABULE I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU! IF anyone deserves it it's you. I've been praying and I'm so thankful God answered! My background check is in progress too. Ecas says decision made but no other updates since then.

Thank you ames!

Soon we will both be reunited with our loved ones in Canada, both having our interviews waived after being put in queue.

Recieved an email this morning from Mr. Richter informing my wife and I that after his review of our application he has found no need for an interview and our case has been approved and to expect PPR shortly!!!!!!

My wife and I are extremely happy right now.

I emailed him two weeks ago expressing my concerns and asking for a second review, and today our prayers have been answered.

Faith in CIC - restored.

;)

WoW! Congrats ImABule!
So happy to hear that for a change. You really do deserve it.
It was totally unfair decision against you and your application.
lately SVO is going really fast in processing and you will be at the end of it soon.
Good luck....

Usually 30 days for them to check back on your file to see if you had complied with their requests. It's not checked on automatically once documents reach them (usually). One thing you can do is make a case specific inquiry to inform that you have indeed sent in the RPRF - add the receipt along with the inquiry.

I was unsure of how to go about that. I submitted our application in Canada but it went to Singapore after Mississauga so I don't know which County I should choose when it asks where our application was submitted? And I didn't see anywhere to upload the file? Just put in our contact info etc.

Thanks man!!! It's almost surreal to go from having no idea how long we would wait for an interview, to suddenly getting news we've been approved... there's literally no words.

i know EXACTLY how you feel.

Update on my case, I woke up at 1 am and looked at my phone(which i dont usually do) and there was an email from VO, with my heart pounding I opened it to find a passport and photos request from them! Called my husband, who was about to call me and thank the Lord(like seriously His timing is just so perfect) he was already in KL which is where the drop off location is and my husband had also brought his documents along so he was able to get everything submitted a few hours after receiving the email. I'm hoping to have him here by Christmas but we will see. I'm beyond ecstatic and so thankful to God and you guys here on this forum for being so supportive!

Will keep everyone updated:)
