i think its just SMS from VFS that your passport despatch from VFS to CIC singapore and VFS has deliver
your passport to 7th or 8th november , its take about 2 and half days for VFS to deliver the passport to
embassy in singapore , so i think sms is for just they deliver your passport at the embassy , the best way is
you can call to VFS bangkok 02 118 7007 , they will update you.

Yes, I think you're right but what I saw on SMS VFS Thailand sent to me is "Visa application, tracking ID No.xxxxxxx- Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office, Singapore on 08-11-2016 to the Canada Visa Application Centre,Singapore_Bangkok" but I got the email from them too it say "Visa application, tracking ID No.xxxxxxx has been received by the Canada Visa Office, Singapore on 08-11-2016 for processing", So it's two different meaning. I called VFS to checked my status and complained why they said two different thing but they just say they only know now is in SVO now. sigh for the system.

Happy to see that the posted processing time for all Singapore applications seem to be on a downward trend (except for Malaysia...). Especially good news for those applying from Thailand and Cambodia on November 7th! The listed processing time was updated on November 7th to 24 months from 28 months (Thailand) and 19 months from 22 months (Cambodia)! :D Hopefully this wasn't a fluke as 24 months is much more appealing than 28 months for me as I live in Thailand with my Thai husband, waiting for him to come to Canada! Hopefully the trend in decreasing processing times will continue for everyone with Singapore VAC. :)

I made this chart myself, so I could keep track of the general Singapore processing time trends. I got the May 2016 processing times for all countries on cicnews website, and then I started keeping track of all countries' processing times in excel in August 2016 by using the "Check application processing times" ... I didn't start in January 2016... Sorry!!! Once a month, I go through and record the spousal sponsorship processing time for every country. I just posted the summary of Singapore VAC above since that is most applicable to this thread, but I have it for all countries. It would be more accurate if I did it weekly as the times are updated, but I thought that was a little intense and a waste of time.
