Hi everyone,

I still am not able to link my wifes's application. I have sent 2 requests to the Technical difficulites link and they have responded, the latest is this:

Sir, Madam,

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. I am pleased to follow up on your request:

In order to link your application to your new MyCIC account, click on the Link application to this account button from your MyCIC account welcome page.

Once on the Link an existing application to this account page, you must select the Permanent Residence category and this sub-category:

Family Class (Spouses)

We compared your answers with your initial application and you have made an error in the following field(s):

UCI

You should now be able to link your application to your new account.

I have double and triple checked the UCI number and still it will not link.

So, to be clear, I'm using my wifes GCKEY account ( she is the applicant, I'm the sponsor), Permanent resident, Family class (spouses), the UCI number that is on all the emails I have received regarding my sponsor approval and the email saying the application was forwarded to Singapore.

It will not link. What do you think I'm doing wrong? Should I be using my CGKEY account?

Thanks

Sponsor approval would list your UCI. Your wife would have a different UCI, usually with the AOR2 mail.

I have a question for you. So when you had your background check changed to "In Process", did you actually get any email about MyCIC changed? Or you just went in to check and noticed the change?
I know you mentioned that you got an email about PPR to check message.
Thanks

No I didn't get any email. I just went to check and noticed the change.

Congrats.

Hopefully you will get good news pretty soon.

Bdw is there anyone who have a paid representative and linked the paper application to MyCic? When I tried to link our application, we got a message that since we have a paid representative, we can't link the application and only our representative can link the application. :(

Congrat :) if they ask to pay the Right of Permanent Residence Fee and ask to do quick before medical expire that means you are almost at the end of the road ;)
If you think you cannot land before december 30 you should tell them now and ask for new medical before getting ppr

I just sent all my additional documents that were requested today. Canada Post wanted $165 for 5 days shipping to Singapore. Ripoff alert!! So I went to DHL only charged me $95 for 3 days shipping.
I was feeling nervous at the post office. Hope everything goes well. :(
