Hi guys just wondering if there is any malaysian applicant getting a ppr?
I'm a sept 2015 applicant and file was transferred to svo in December 2015..n no news from them till now.

As some of you know, I applied for PR and TRV. In both applications, we referenced my wife's Facebook as her online business. Today, my wife received a request from "Melissa Jean" who claims to represent the Consulate General of Canada in Ho Chi Minh City.


Anyone from Vietnam or other countries who experienced this? Nothing to hide, so we accepted the request. Just curious.

Yeah its family class sponsorship. .my husband is sponsoring me ..I'm seeing in this thread applicant from thai, Bangladesh getting the ppr tats y I was wondering if there is any malaysian have gotten it. I'm assuming the svo is moving by countries. .n yes I hav ordered gcms 2 weeks ago still waiting for their reply.

It sucks that you havent heard anything yet and you applied a good three months ahead of me. Good to know there's someone applying from the same country though!i'm seeing my husband at the end of the month. We're having our church wedding ceremony and honeymoon and I plan on sending them more pictures and all when this is over. According to the MPs office the eligibility was in progress in May, so hopefully they're on to background checks now. I'll be ordering GCMS notes shortly.

I received a letter from my VO stated that my application in interview queue. They have returned all my evidences. They said they will contact again when the interview schedule will be ready. Can anyone tell me the approximate time of interview..

No.. they didn't ask for any additional documentation before putting my application in interview queue. they also didn't mention any timeline to wait for interview. they only stated that they wil contact again to let me know the date and place for interview.

I wonder why they do that? If they suspect the relationship I thought they'd ask for more proof first. Unless an interview without a request for additional documentation means something else besides eligibility? I feel so awful that you had to be waiting since September only to get this news now. I hope everything works out ok.

They generally don't ask for more documents before sending the interview letter

Do a research on this thread, I remember that someone succeed to waived the interview after he got the letter. He sent more relationship evidence to SVO but I don't remember his name thought. Maybe its a long shot but it worth trying it.

Yeah I noe it sucks .. Im waiting for the gcms to noe my stand in their point of view. Well I'm happy for you and congratulations on ur upcoming wedding

He also quit his job and moved to Thailand I think it was.
