Agreed! The waiting is so hard that when it is done, it gives you a heart attack from overflown enjoyment.

Have your wife come to the VFS office to send the passport? If so, you guys may have the same hobby that I am doing now: tracking the VFS' application.

I like the sounds of that hobby lol

It sure is. Hope you would be joining us in the next few months. For the meantime, enjoy your single life! It will not last long, you know.

I'm not enjoying it at all lol. I work 75-80 hours a week trying to save money and clear debt before my wife arrives, and I support her financially as well. I'm exhausted. All my free time is spent talking to my wife.

You're a trooper ImABule. I thankfully don't have to support my husband or anything, he's got a job in Malaysia but i'm working hard trying to get money saved up for our church wedding ceremony/reception/ honeymoon this year. Last years was a simple civil ceremony with just close friends and family. I havent seen him in almost a year and it sucks big time, but it's nice knowing i'll be seeing him soon, at the end of the month! who knows, there's always a chance he'll be flying back with me at the end of July. I'm running on faith, if it happens then, AMAZING! if not, i'll just wait for God's timing.

Thanks everyone, for your words of encouragement and feedback. I did order notes last week, but to be honest I didn't know which options to pick. Alot of you mentioned having to get the PA to fill out a consent form but I didnt come across that, which probably means i ordered the wrong ones now that I come to think of it.

Hi everyone,

I woke up this morning and saw a miss call from my wife at 2am. I knew something happened. I knew we either received the PPR email, or the PPR email was sent to us.

and YES, WE RECEIVED THE PPR!!! Congratulation to us. And sorry 5CAD (for the GCMS notes I ordered end of April), you have died in vain...

To anyone who share the same timeline and situation with us (i.e. filed the application in Sep 2015, recommended waived for interview around Jan 2016), expect the PPR soon!!

My timeline is very similar to yours, I have filed my application on first week of Oct, 2015.

I just got my PPR today, I will deposit my passport tomorrow.

**Can anyone tell me if I should be completing the "spouse/partner" section of the appendix B? (the form that I need to send along with my passport) I will be traveling alone from Bangladesh to Canada (my husband is in Canada and he cannot come backhome at this moment due to his work)

Thank you

I'm personally waiting to see whether ImaBule gets his wife the TRV or not, that'd be really awesome if he did. My wife got one and we were pretty excited, but then she got passport request after she arrived, so we had to cut her visit short so she could submit her passport. If I had known she would've gotten her visa so quickly, we would've saved the $2000 on the flight tickets + hotel room by just leaving her in Vietnam until the PR visa came.

My wife was working before we submitted our application. The problem was she was making like $140CAD a month. I suggested she quit her job and move back home with her family and I would send her money. Now she's not working and recieving 2-3x the money lol. I just bought her family a fridge because they didn't have one in their home. I've flown to Indonesia 3 times in the past year and spent 2-3k each time. If our TRV is denied I will be going back a fourth time. I work 7 days a week. Literally. The last day off I had was Victoria Day and before that was the day I came back from Indonesia last.

If you need help with ordering the notes I'll be happy to help.

Mikey,

I replied to your post on another thread about the TRV. We are slowly putting together the application but will wait until towards end of June to send it so I can show more bank balance.

As you know, my wife doesn't work/ has no assets. How do you think we show she will return? Only thing we have is a notarized letter from her father saying she is expected to return after her visit.

I personally don't even care if she gets PPR the day she arrives on TRV. The sooner we are together the better. The money is a non issue to me.

Yeah my wife will go in person to vfs office in Bangkok today and then I'll have the same hobby as you ;)

You do not need to do that because your husband is in Canada already.
