It could mean they took pics with only the same people, didn't show pics of the couple with other guests perhaps.

That's what I assumed, I just asked for clarification.

How long after you apllied did they requested interview?

I would also like to know how long the wait for the interview letter was as from what I have typically seen from SVO is that in most cases it is sent out pretty quickly after AOR2.

If 7 months is a short time then I'm somewhat worried as it was 10 months for me.

What do you mean picture of wedding with the same people?

This waiting without much information can be frustrating and stressful, especially when we compare notes with others. However, are there other factors in your case that may be different? Obviously the wedding pictures? Number of times visited? Religion?

Wedding pics had many different people including many of her extended family, visited once before marriage, married second visit, visited once after marriage, converted to Islam to marry my wife. We explained neither of us are religious and considered eloping abroad but decided her family approving and attending the wedding was more important.

So lots of other factors that support the genuineness of your relationship.

From the immigration appeals I read, many of the time related cases were because of not meeting before marrying. You visited and spent time with your wife before marrying, so hope that and other information in your file helps!!!

BTW. Ordered GCMS notes on May 3rd. Have not received anything but guessing it should be soon. I think you said you received your notes in two weeks?

12 days first time around. Ordered them again May 2. Nothing yet.

Also ordered the notes from our study permit app. Took them 32 days.

I think you're good bro

I would like me some "recommended pass" in my notes (when they come)!!!

But agree with ImABule... you looking very good!!!!!!! What happens next for you Shineon39?

Having a recommended pass is a great thing, however you're not completely out of the woods yet. There will be a second officer who will evaluate your relationship, you will see this in the GCMS notes later on. If he also says recommend wav, and/or you see the second guy say "Decision: Approved, request passport for visa issuance", then you know 100% you're in the clear.

That was I thought ;). I will feel 100% safe only when I'll have my lovely wife in my arms in canada :)
But don't get my wrong i'm really happy to have a "recommended passed" ;)

Yeah, I'm aware it's sent back to CPC-M for final review, but
if one guy waives, chances are it will be good.
