Hmmm, just a small update from us, we were able to send off our passport today, and the post office told us it would get there on the 8th of Dec.

Can anyone tell how long it does take to get back your passport from S'pore after you submit it to the Dhaka Canadian consulate?

Hey Farhanz it takes approximately 6 weeks to get your Passport back...

Anyways i asked you a question regarding your online status.. Did u ever got your E-cas status updated to Medical has Been received from In processing?

And an another question is that what did u get from Singapore actually? Was that only a letter ? or along with that did u get any form like appendix A?

My online ecas status still says "We started processing....."....No change in status at all. From S'pore we got back all our Photos along with a detail letter of approval & an Appendix which needs to be filled and send out with the passport.

Are you sure about this 6 weeks thing? from where did you get this info?

I have relatives who had gone through this process last year and I asked them about it..anyways that 6 weeks is the maximum but u can even get ur passport back within 2 to 4 weeks..

My sponsoring spouse have different middle name in her marraige certificate and Canadian Passport that is Afroja Akter Akhi and Afroja Akhter Akhi

Will that extra "H" of her middle name may cause hamper on our family class immigration process?

However I heard that Canada Immigration does not really give any importance on middle name..is it true?

My spouse already got sponsorship approval letter from Missisauga ..

I will highly appreciate if u guys throw some light on this..

Sadatul...I don't think it will make any difference now since you have already got approval from Mississauga. In S'Pore, they will just check your medical and security background. No worries bro....Welcome to Canada!

Hello guys ..I have another concern regarding that Personal History form..

How did u filled up that form? like did u include ur personal history since the age of 18 or included last 10 years of history..

I am 22 so how should I have filled that form? I didnt provided info from my last 10 years instead I filled this form giving information since my age 18 was that alright?

Please give your valuable suggestion...

@sadatul don't worry since you were student and as long as u provided school information and ssc and hsc certificates it should be ok
