hi regina ..u better try ecas by using Applicants name and date of birth with client id or receipt then u will see in processing since .....

I was always looked ecas by using my spouse/sponsor name and DOB with client id but ecas showed like what u r seeing right now.

BTW i got an Email from Singapore with my file number

Hi, i've tried what u mentioned and ain't able to check status . . . how did u get a hold of the file number? it's not the Kit number is it. . . ..

I got that file number from their email reply ( I sent them an email and they sent it back with that file number written on subject line).

Nope that was not kit number ..if u dont have file number then try it with receipt or client id..remember to check ecas with PRINCIPLE APPLICANTS name and DOB not the SPONSORS name or DOB.

Well surprisingly, when I use Principal Applicant's name nothing comes out. But when I use my name (Sponsor) I am able to see the status....

Hey Farhanz..what did u see on ecas??? did u check ecas with ur file number?? if not then i think Principle Applicant's info does not work on ecas..

Well I just got the letter that I have been accepted to sponsor my wife and they sent the documents to Singapore just a couple days ago. We'll see how long this takes. :O

Great news! My wife got her PR approval today from Singapore. She will submit her passport on Sunday to the Canadian High Commission, Dhaka.

Here's my timeline:

Approval from CIC-M - 21th August, 2010
File Transfer to S'Pore - 31st August, 2010
Approval Rec'd - 1st December, 2010.

So it took exactly 3 months to get it approved. Thank you guys for all your support. I will be around to answer any questions you may have.

wow Congratulation Farhanz.....I am so happy to hear your message ..Did u ever get ur ecas updated to Medical has been received?..Mine was started processing from 23rd september ..so consider ur timeline I am hoping to get PPR by the end of this month..

i emailed them to get the file number and they replied back with 2 ID's F********* / B********** , i tried to log in to ecas with them but no result just yet, it's been a month since it's got approved in canada. How long before the in-process appears guys from you're experiences?

U should get ur updates by this time just make sure you enter valid informations with the name of Principle Applicants and File number that starts with B and make sure u enter Date of Birth and location of your Sponsored Persong/ Princple Applicant...Hopefully u can see ur status..
