Get the GCMS notes, there's no reason you shouldn't order them. They will provide more information and better peace of mind than just checking Ecas status every week hoping for a change.

Thank you very much FishnChips. Yes I think I should apply for the GCMS notes to get clear idea as to what is happening with our application. Just sent my wife the consent form to sign and send back to me.

Thank you.

Hi Skystar,

You meant applying online and receiving the notes by email, right?
Will it take less than 30 days?

Just curious, when did you get in process status?

Did you request notes after getting to in process status?

Thank you.

Yes online is faster than mail. One of my friend did. It was fast. My statues changed on 17 August 2015 but they received my application 25 nov 2014. It's just a waiting game. Visa officers do what they want to do. And we just can wait and pray

Wife got an email stating her passport is ready and waiting at the IOM centre. She's going to pick it up tomorrow and then we celebrate. I'll be booking flights back to accompany her to canada shortly! :P

Hey Mike, my wife sent me a picture of her new passport last night with the visa :)
I didn't get a chance to talk to her as I was already fast asleep due to time difference, so I was wondering is there anything else she needs? Or is just the visa enough to cross border?

Hey Guys :)

I have been waiting for my wife's PR for over 2 years now and few days i got this letter. Please note that she is on interview list since Jan 2014.

Letter stats the follow requirement-
a) medical
b) police certification
c) updated IMM5669
d) RPRF Fee
e) Sponsor's letter of employment, bank statement and tax assessment.

Now my questions are, does this mean that interview is waived? what is the next step? Has anyone encountered this before?

You need to do everything on your list.

1) Your wife needs to have her medical examination and update CIC with new results
2) She needs to get her police certification and up CIC with new results
3) You two need to fill out the new IMM5669 form and update CIC
4) Pay all your sponsorship fees
5) You need to get your employer to write you a letter of employment, provide bank statement of funds, pay stub and option c form (2013, 2014)

It seems to me that you application is missing a lot of info. Did you have all this done at the time of filing with CIC? Nothing was stated about the interview so it's best not to assume it's been waived. Your next steps are exactly what you wrote, you need to do everything on the list before CIC will continue with your application. Failure to do so may result in them closing your file and wasting 2 years.

thanks for the reply.

All the information were given at the time of application including pay-stub,tax assessment etc. We have 30 days to fulfil this requirement and almost everything is ready to go.

That's great that you have your updated documents. It could be that due to the long delay, CIC just needed to request new documents. Hopefully your application will process with speed once they receive your files.

Hey that's great, I think you guys hold the record for fastest processing by Singapore VO!

Ecas status shows Application In Process and shows usual 3 line. But due to update , I found it be change of date. Earlier it was shown as Application in process 18'december 2014 but now it is showing 8 April 2013. God knows which one is correct. AOR is 05 April 2013. It is basically spouse sponsorship. Medical and remedical done . Both expired . No update since as showing Application In Process.GCMS always shows Security , criminality either not started or cancelled. So slow SVO. May be often then open 2013 application and update and again goes for hibernation.

Spoke to my wife and she confirmed she still has the COPR, thank goodness! I was worried it might have been lost or something haha. Flights booked, I'm heading back to VN on the 30th for 2 weeks!

Just asking, has anyone received PPR by email or letter but Ecas not updated and no new line added?
My Ecas was updated to Decision Made on last Tuesday and till today I didnt get any PPR. I'm worried now.
Any thoughts?
